  “Excellent. Very happy with our stay here. Would recommend and stay again. The room was a great space for my husband and I, our two teenage daughters and our two dogs. The girls having their own little room upstairs was awesome. It was all clean and well presented. Showers are really important for us when we stop over and the shower was huge with good hot flowing water, shower gel and shampoo was also provided. Also happy to have a kettle in the room. There was also a lovely canal walk where we could take the dogs which was handy and a pretty walk. The town is close by. Many restaurants are closed on Mondays. But it’s still possible to find something.”

  “Breakfast in the big hall was lovely. The paintings and the views of the garden were captivating. We loved having a look around the corridors and into the old church.”
