We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CroatiaThe lay-out of the room was a little strange, there is not enough space in the cupboards, they are like 25 cm. deep, so we decided to live out of our luggage but we didn't have enough space for our luggage actually, we had only one suitcase each but had to put one under the table and one in front of the window.
The bed and pillows were extra comfortable. Bathroom was very nice, large shower. Separate toilet.

United KingdomVery poor communication from staff and major issues with facilities during our stay. Arrived at hotel to be told that the jacuzzi/hamman/spa and swimming pool would all be unavailable for the duration of our stay - this was the main reason we booked the hotel so was disappointing (it was even more disappointing to discover reviews from a month earlier with people complaining of the same issue) . On day two we were woken by a knock on our door early with hotel staff requesting to come in and check our shower due to a leak in the hotel. When we raised issues with the spa closure staff repeatedly told us the manager would be in touch which never happened! Overall a very disappointing experience

United StatesThe concierges were very nice but their restaurant recommendations were our two worst meals in Marseille (overpriced, bad service) which is a shame because Marseille has great restaurants which we found through our own research and absolutely loved. The Bartender at the hotel was also not the nicest.

United KingdomThe food wasn’t very good. My fried egg was overcooked and the pancakes weren’t well done. The chicken I had for dinner was flavourless. You are better off trying out the local restaurants littered near by. The kitchen/bar closes at 11pm. So if you’re a nocturnal type or plan on going out at night. You have to settle for junk from Deliveroo or UberEats. Also, the wifi was really slow, that was very jarring. I had to use my mobile data because of how unstable the wifi was.
The hotel was modern and spacious, it was also close to the port with a metro and bus station near by. The spa and pool looked great although I didn’t use it as I had a short stay. The breakfast is generous and the balcony in my room was beautiful.

FranceI found it very hard to understand how this hotel has 5 stars and this plus the 5 star pricing sets false expectations. Otherwise it is a nice boutique hotel. There is no restaurant at lunch or evening (contrary to info on booking.com), room service menu only offers snack/aperitif type food like cheese plates or foie-gras, so not practical if traveling with children, the hammam in the spa isn’t open, the towels in the rooms were old, rough and greying, the daily room cleaning was not very thorough. I point these things out because I paid a rate for 5 star accommodation and did not feel like it was a fair exchange.
nice big rooms, people working in the hotel were very kind and friendly. Breakfast service was good. This is a pleasant boutique hotel.
