How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We were too early in the season for the pool to be open
We booked because it was near the airport and the shuttle was a bonus. The staff were very helpful snd courteous

No food served during the day on a Sunday so just plan around that

Nothing really. The room was not very modern. But that's not something to dislike. Again, I'm very happy with my stay.

A little noisy in the hallway, possibly due to our room being next to the elevator.

Unfortunately the ordering process in the restaurant wasn't explained to us so we sat there for half an hour while the server appeared to ignore us. After we questioned what was going on with a staff member who could understand our school French there is a QR code on the menu which is supposed to display the ordering process BUT it didn't work so we gave our order to the server who had ignored us previously. Food was OK but could have been hotter.
Location, parking, restaurant and breakfast available on site, handy for departure the following day. Our room looked as if it had been refurbished in the recent past.

The breakfast was expensive and there was not much choice so we resigned.
Clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet neighbourhood close to sea side and close to commercial center, Very supportive stuff.

Location is just an industrial area, but if you are on the road and need just a nice place to stop this is perfect!
Everything was Okay, nice room, good value for money. Perfect if you are on the road like I was. Pet friendly and late checkout. Bar onsite was a big plus as there's nowhere to go around.

rooms are pretty basic. No coffee making facilities. Pool looked dilapidated- shouldn’t be shown in pics.

While I found my bed to be very comfortable, my husband was miserable, saying that there was something (possibly the pad over the mattress) that made him sweat terribly. We were there in warm weather, so I didn't mind just having what seemed to be an extra sheet, rather than a blanket, but in cooler weather, even if the room was warm enough, I think I would have wanted a blanket.
The hostess who greeted us on our arrival was absolutely delightful and helpful, as well as being fluent in both French and English (and possibly several other languages). Likewise, the man who served us at dinner was extremely helpful and honest in helping me choose something that my gluten-free body could tolerate. And the staff who drove us to the airport in the morning were totally delightful. It was wonderful to have air-conditioning in our rooms, and especially that we had our own thermostat to control it, and it also was wonderful to have a restaurant right in the hotel.

The mattress was too soft for me.
Staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. Outside dining and pool area are comfortable for chilling after a day at the beach or in Montpellier. Easy parking. Only my sat nav had trouble finding the place. Great location and would Definitely stay again.
