We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe A/C was leaking, I was just told to put a towel under it.. The facility is old and in my opinion not worth the money. There is no elevator to the upper floor, you need to bring up your suitcases by stairs.
Friendly receptionist, had no problem speaking English to me, accommodating my need to leave the luggage at the hotel before check-in. Breakfast was ok.

Service and location excellent. Good dining room and reception area. Rooms a bit tired, the whole building needs an uplift, bathroom refitted with showers rather than bath and shower over. No opening windows on ground floor, just doors which are not secure at night.

GermanyDidn't notice that a 7 and a 9 Yr old were both on full price breakfast. Not the end of the world, I was too tired to read the flyer properly.
Hotel was perfect. We drove from south east Germany en route to Brittany so we wanted to stop overnight, but not near Paris. The lady running the hotel was super friendly, hotel room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was very tasty and we were able to check out at 12 midday.
