“Marshall Meadows is a beautifully renovated period building in very fine grounds. Booking and check in were simple. Staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious, well appointed, very quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable so we slept well. Breakfast was excellent with both cold food and a selection of hot dishes. We also dined in the restaurant and thought the food both very good and well priced. We only stayed one night but wished it had been longer.
There was ample parking but I would advise parking in the open area not under the trees as we did because there are many birds in these trees.”
