“The location was ideal for us being central to our holiday plan. We enjoyed breakfast & dinner at the hotel throughout our 4 night stay. Breakfast was good as were dinners. Bar menu was more varied in the bar than the dining restaurant but it was possible to select from both menus. Overall quality was good. We were made to feel welcome by all the staff.”

Home made bread, rare breed hens eggs & honey all produced on the estate and part of the delightful welcome pack.
The accommodation had everything we needed. All modern appliances, TV microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. A wonderful log stove with a plentiful supply of logs. The view from the windows was picturesque, and the estate has a highly interesting history with a connection to royalty.
The host Liz presented us with a delicious rhubarb and apple crumble along with freshly made custard. She truly is a ‘Superhost’. Helpful in every way.

“I was met at the door, my bicycle whisked to a secure storage, and given great local information re: eating and shopping. The room was well apportioned and the shower excellent . Breakfast was both tasty and enormous. I felt very welcome and would certainly stay again.”
“This was a very last minute booking, and what an absolute gem of a find this was. We were the first people to stay in the converted coach house, and it was PERFECT.... couldn't fault anything at all. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into it. The decor, lighting and furnishings were just lovely. The bedroom was vast, the bathroom was stunning, and it really was spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and comfy, and it was very quiet.The two young members of staff, I think they were Emily and Caoinhe, could not have done more to make us more welcome. There was ample parking, the pub was great, the food was really lovely, both breakfast and our evening meal....service was quick and efficient. We absolutely will be returning...just loved it.”
