“The selfcatering cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, and the owner had left a bottle of milk in the fridge and supplied coffee and tea (ground coffee, too) biscuits and some breakfast cereals to tide over. Very good hearty meals in the inn, and a view over to the milecastle to tempt you to explore the wall.”
