  • “The selfcatering cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, and the owner had left a bottle of milk in the fridge and supplied coffee and tea (ground coffee, too) biscuits and some breakfast cereals to tide over. Very good hearty meals in the inn, and a view over to the milecastle to tempt you to explore the wall.”

  • “Breakfast and dinner were good - menu choices and service. Room was comfortable. Overall service was good.”

  • The Snug @ Corry Cottage Review score: 9.6

“Historical home, separate entrance, room with ensuite and private sitting area overlooking the garden. Modern facilities, room clean, warm, and comfortable. Quiet country location, beautiful gardens. Parking on site.”

  • Wydon Farm Bed and Breakfast Review score: 9.5

“Absolutely the perfect place to stay for my two nights allowing me to explore Haltwhistle region and walk part of Hadrian’s Wall. As a solo traveller traveling by train I was very grateful to the hosts collecting me from the station and also from my pub dinner. Room was perfect - warm and inviting. Breakfast was particularly wonderful - literally fluffiest omelette ever!! Love the farm location. Thank you Linda”

  • “Clean, comfortable bed nice bathroom. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast.”
