“Location is a 10/10. We loved having a beer on an evening, on the benches outside, looking down into the valley. Myself and a friend stayed in the triple room, and we were very impressed. I would definitely rate it more than a 2* hotel. Bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. A bit of a weird compliment, but the water pressure in the shower was incredible! We were also pleasantly surprised with the drinks prices at the bar. I can't remember a pint costing more than £5. The staff were very friendly, and the manager was brilliant. I'd also recommend anyone visiting to have a walk to Lastingham, and eat at "The Blacksmiths Arms". The food is incredible, and fairly priced.”
