“The location of the hotel is 5 mins walk for the promenade at Sidmouth and the spectacular views of the sea and red cliffs to east and west of the town . The hotel is really quaint and traditional with lovely white exterior and Devon Gothic windows . The grounds are lovely too and well kept . The food in the restaurant is really good - Sunday night dinner is splendid with Sunday roast done to perfection . Breakfast is delicious with fresh cooked options - haddock and bubble and squeak on offer . Afternoon tea too and a well stocked bar - all staff helpful and friendly . What more could you want ?the Royal Glen is a real gem in Sidmouth .”

Lovely atmosphere and feel to the place. Our family had rooms on 1st,2nd &3rd floors, all varied and 1st&2nd floor easy level access from lift, ideal for the older members of family. Rooms newly refurbished, light and airy, very comfortable beds, and quiet location with just sound of the waves.”
