The staff was very very helpful. They gave us a room with an excellent view along the Esplanade. The breakfast was really good. We also liked that it was shoulder season and had fewer people. It was really nice walking into town and along the coastal trail.

Breakfast was a bit unimaginative but I think they were appealing to their core customer who is generally quite elderly and this may suit them. On my first morning a lady tried to come and clean my room at 8.40am! I put the Do not Disturb sign on the room at night and then it was fine - but I felt that was a bit early to expect a guest to be out of their room.

Lovely single room with sea view and small balcony. The hotel felt as if it had recently been refurbished - or was just exceptionally clean and bright! All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Nice bar with reasonably priced drinks. Great location on the front and very handy for the main bus stops.

Would have been nice if the Hotel had a car park or discounted parking in the car park next door. But not too much of a problem.

Hotel in excellent position overlooking the sea. Comfortable rooms with a walk in shower in the Bathroom. Cheerful helpful staff. Breakfast freshly cooked to order making a pleasant change to a help yourself buffet.

Shower was a bit tight and I couldn’t seem to get the water very hot - though maybe me being thick with the controls.

Parking could be better although you can park for free if you're lucky either in the hotels very small car park or on the street . Otherwise there is a car park right opposite the hotel which is very convenient but costs £10 for an overnight stay

Warm welcome on arrival. Excellent Breakfast and very good dinner. Super staff in dining room and bar. really friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to a double room which had a balcony overlooking the sea. The bed was really comfortable. Small but good shower room. All the staff are lovely.

People bringing in there dogs while they have a drink ,they barked at everything couldn't have a decent conversation over the noise ,

Only negative no car park. There's one next to hotel but a bit pricey,5 minute walk east end promenade to a carpark.

We stayed in this hotel over New Year. We have two 12 year old children and my 80 year old mum also joined us. All of us loved staying in this hotel and hope to visit again in future The hotel staff were all genuinely lovely. They could not have been more welcoming or friendly. The rooms were spotless and had lovely sea views. We requested that my mum be placed right next to one of our rooms and the hotel was able to accommodate this. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is right by the beach. The town centre is within easy walking distance, but just far enough away to be quiet at night . There are some great restaurants neaby.

I loved the sea view balcony. This really enhanced my stay even in December. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Great customer service staff- phoned me shortly after I left as I had left a charger behind.
