Not so much the property but more so the work going on outside, right next to our room, 8am drilling started and the banging of concrete, not the best to sleep through.

Carpet had seen better days- looked dirty with a red stain (? Wine, lipstick) around bed. Wet room is small but functional.

Room was basically kitted out but had everything you need- and clearly all previous feedback had been listened to. Room was quiet and didn’t suffer from banging doors as sometimes can be the case in similar venues

In our party, one couple's room was filthy and they needed to change rooms. The rooms are small for the price you pay, although given it is London prices we should have expected it really. Breakfast was overly expensive, given the easy location within a few yards of numerous places that offer similar fare for half the price.

When clean, the rooms were comfortable and perfectly adequate for overnighting and being out from breakfast until after dinner. Staff were on the whole friendly and welcoming, although some did let the hotel down with their surliness.

Unfortunately, the basics were not good. Shower hose cennection was not tight. Hence, I got sprayed all over my jeans, taking the head down and switching the water supply on! Awkward to shower with as water was escaping from the curtain and onto the sink area above. Annoyingly, the extractor fan wasn't working either, and that's not nice if you have more than one sharing a room. Last but not least, I couldn't find a hairdryer in the room. Did I miss it?

They kindly upgraded my son & I to an ambassador room. We were chuffed. We were Trying this hotel for the 1st time. We come over to London a lot & normally stay at very nice accommodation closer to the Eurostar terminal

Standard double room was very small - bathroom was a tiny wet room with absolutely nowhere to put anything- needed shelves. The same was true of the room with only a tiny wardrobe area .

The room was tiny for a double bedroom and could have been bigger so I could comfortably work from there (which I chose not to do due to room and desk size.. The desk and TV were put at weird angles to the bed, so that was jarring to settle down at night. The window view onto the back area of the building was off-putting, so sunlight was hard to get hold of during a very mild and pleasant October in London - the view wasn't good enough to get that, so the room felt very dark, making the room feel smaller again. Paid extra for 1 morning's breakfast, and it was very bland and untasty. The hashbrowns in the cooking section were hot and rock solid - barely unedible, unfortunately. The orange juice tasted cheap, as did the beans and the scrambled eggs were very watery. Safe to say, I chose not to pay nearly £18.00 for breakfast from the hotel again, as breakfast was on the go from other shops after that. Sorry guys, but this is an area you can and should improve on!

Location (walk away from London Euston and all local amenities), Cleanliness (room service every day!), and Shower pressure was a good level in the wetroom-style bathroom. The bed was comfortable with good fluffy pillows, so slept well with no outside noise audible, despite being in the busy area of London.

The gym is very poor. No water, towels or loose weights. Maybe a couple more teabags in room. 2 for 2 people bit poor.

Room was clean & welcoming reception/bar/cleaning staff. Location good for Kings cross. Nice toiletries and touches in the room. Shower powerful & hot. Held our bag before & prior to check in.

Fairly priced for the great location. Close to train and tube stations - easy to get to from Gatwick airport and to navigate around London. Room was fairly small but had everything you needed.
