We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The setting is lovely, hotel grounds are well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Bed comfy.

United KingdomBreakfast was TERRIBLE we waited soo long and im talkin a good 25 mins before we was even asked for our order ..we ordered drinks it was the first drink of the day my mouth wasvdryer then ghandies flip flop so could have done with the drink there and then ...i had no idea you could order toast otherwise i would have just had that anyway 15 mins later no drink we asked and the waiter said it was on its way then 10 mins later we asked again this time the waiter was rude cant remember word for word then finaly after a gd 50 mins our breakfast came out WITH TOASY and the drinks which at that point i downed 3 quaters of it ..so i had the toast which i wanted on the first place but then i had to eat the other youghert thing i ordered becouse i didnt no u could have toast so next time i would never eat with you again im glad we didnt go for dinner now was a BIG dissapointment ended on a bad note and wasted a lot of time
The decor was amazing i loved the dragon and knight design ...the bed was the most comfyest bed i have ever slept on even thoe i had to do a jump and climb on as im 4ft 10 the bed was bit high but worth it very comfy ...the room was nice and warm i liked bein in control of the heating i bought hot pyjamas thinkin it would be freezing so i cooked myself a bit. The view outside the balcony was nice to see the castle lit up

United KingdomOnly thing was, the loft hatch in the bathroom was very dirty and there were handprints on the wall where, I assume, maintenance had been.
Our upgraded room was such a surprise, attention to detail, for example, our personal welcoming letter. Staff were so friendly and welcoming.

United StatesOur room (Classic) was adequate and the bathroom was spacious but we had to deal with an inconvenient structural (historic!) beam. We had one dinner in addition to the two included breakfasts, and my husband said it was one of his best dinners ever. We enjoyed sitting in one of the comfortable beautifully decorated lounges for pre-dinner drinks after poking into every corner of the amazing grounds. The neighborhood was peaceful. The staff was very helpful about arranging breakfast as early as possible our last morning so we could be on our way quickly for our flight home.

A truly beautiful location and hotel with great character and history. I had a room on the ground level with a private courtyard - easy access, private and extremely comfortable. I was greeted with a complimentary drink and wonderful service from the staff, who were welcoming and friendly. Dinner was lovely and the service was excellent. The gardens were very beautiful too.
