It’s currently in the middle of some renovations so perhaps not the best time to stay. There was no restaurant for dinner or breakfast because of staff illness which was unfortunate. Price around average for Ullapool but a bit pricey for the current standard of facilities.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. It’s pet friendly which was important for me as I was able to bring my dog. It’s in a good location. There was a bar which was warm and welcoming.

a bit over priced for room which does not include breakfast and you have to go over to their sister hotel to get it which was not made clear on booking form. also leaking gents toilet urinals in bar which left the floor swimming, looked very much a botched diy plumbing job.

It wasn't very clean. The stairway to the room was very awkward especially trying to hold a dog on a lead. Thought tfat the food was fairly priced until it was served and it wasn't the best quality. I ordered bacon burger, and the price of bacon wasn't even half a rasher

No one seemed to be in charge. Decor was in need of repair and renewal. Reception not manned consistently. We attempted to make contact in the week before going and despite assurances and leaving voicemails we got no response at all. The car park was not accessible before breakfast unless we walked round the block to get to it.

Location - though access to the car park in the morning was not readily available. Most of the staff that we saw were helpful. The room was adequate and clean. The Food was reasonable.

Advertised as having wifi however their wifi offering was open network and not available in our room.

Room was very nice, however no WIFI. We did find wifi at The Ferry Inn. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as no wifi was available. Breakfast was had at the Ferry Inn. View was great from our room.

The shower was repaired with duck tape. A poor flow which was OK for me because I could stand steadfast against the shower wall and wash with minimal flow. But if you had a fat guts you would remain filthy for the rest of the day

Hotel bar closed at 0100hrs on the two nights we stayed with the patrons taking one last drink outside the pub and for 15 - 30mins non stop shouting and laughing. There is no way to sleep until the bar patrons have left. Hotel, although clean, is looking 'tired such as the carpets, from the other sounds room doors such as ours shut with a bang and general upkeep needs to improve, in my opinion.

The door to the room rattled every time someone came up the stairs and there was a lot of noise from downstairs in the evening

Very dated and in poor condition. TV didn't work, pillows were uncomfortable, shower was tiny, toilet seat was broken, lots of narrow steep stairs.
