This hotel is well located near the isle of Skye. The room was not large but well equipped. The restaurant and the breakfast were good, and the staff friendly and helpful.

The wi-fi was rubbish which meant the tv did not work. Breakfast was good but there was a bit of congestion where the cups, plates and continental breakfast was laid out, it would also be better if you got a pot of tea rather than having to make it yourself from the kettle that was there.

The room was very tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and was not too warm as you were able to open the window as I dislike stuffy rooms! The bathroom was small but again tastefully decorated with an excellent shower.

Lower rating on staff, restaurant staff were very good and friendly. Women at the front desk was confusing and aloof to our questions.

Housekeeping in public areas could be better. Over priced for facilities in room. Curtain hanging off rail. Window doors struggled to shut & lock. Kettle didn’t fit under tap in sink, had to fill it with tumblers of water. Toilet flush struggled to work. No suitcase rack or surface to put suitcase on. Poor hospitality tray. Black tape covering a hole in ceiling. For a supposedly 4*hotel our room at the back was basic.

To my taste the bed was a little overly soft. There was also a bright green light shining from the ceiling all night distractingly.

Loved the location. On the road, not far from Eilean Donan Castle and the Skye bridge. Enough parking and nice and clean property. Highlight was the lake and mountain view in front of the hotel. Staff was nice and accommodating. I had asked for lake view room but didn't get it. That was the only downside.

Internal doors bang during the night.

Situated halfway between Eilean Donan Castle and Skye, this is an excellent resting place complete with (good but unremarkable) restaurant and bar. Recomended for those visiting Skye or doing the NC500 -- would defintely stay there again.

Nothing of concern, some building work was in progress but that didn’t affect our stay. The hotel is much nicer than it looks from the outside.

Nice spacious room perfectly suited to our needs as passing motorcyclists on a tour.

It’s not too brightly lit so room was a bit dim but just a personal preference. Toilet was not clean, there were already clumps of hair on the floor when we checked into the room. Something to take note of.

Location was near Isle of Skye so a good alternative to staying at Isle of Skye where accom were expensive. Was glad that I did a £3.90 upgrade to a room with sea view. It’s a basic room with basic amenities provided. Room was quite spacious, TV with Netflix was a bonus. Breakfast was not bad, but you’ll need to get the attention of the server to take your order. Convenience store is just next door. Free parking on premise as well.
