We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomAll the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was tasty (great cherry berry porridge😊). Big car park and fantastic location for walkers. I booked the cheapest room so it wasn't big but it still had a very comfy bed and was super clean. I can fully recommend it.

United KingdomNoise travelled easily down the corridors - the hotel was busy due to a wedding so it wasn't paticularly quiet when we stayed. The shower was either tepid or scalding hot.
Great selection of cooked and continental breakfast. Nice selection of teas in the room. Beautiful courtyard for a drink in the evening. Great location for activities on/ around Rutland water.

United KingdomNo provision for a semi-private lounge area - two sofas in full view of dining area does not provide the setting for a relaxed half-hour when needed Not sufficient "specials" on the supper menu and somewhat overpriced Would have appreciated biscuits on hospitality tray EVERY day, not just on arrival - too many choices of tea and coffee
Breakfast - good choices - well presented (the addition of fish would have been a bonus) , and well cooked Room comfortable but the addition of two comfortable chairs in a double room is a must appreciated addition of bottled milk and water - a very nice touch ALL staff unfailingly helpful and a delight with whom to pass the time of day

And no fault of the hotel but guests let there room doors go as they went in and out and the bang nearly shot you out of bed. The room was very small,no room for suitcases to be stored or for clothes.

United KingdomIt's an old building, so you hear people coming and going abit but once everyone is settled, it was quiet and peaceful.
I loved the attention to detail. The welcome glass of wine on arrival (possibly because it was Valentines weekend (?) The warm welcome from the staff, the bits and bobs in the room, the tipple, the fine coffee and tea, the little favour bag hanging on the door. The personalised welcome card. Gosh, what was not to like about this place ! The clean room, the comfy bed. Great night sleep Zzzzzzz
