Very small and at times the heater didn’t work. There was a portable one in cupboard and we used this the last night and it was great

So close to everything especially the bay and the Marina. Great complimentary gifts to make your visit special. Well stocked breakfast items and happy to restock.

Couldn't find anything to fault

Fantastic location. Right in centre of Stonehaven Bay on a pedestrian footpath. ( Car access from a nearby lane) Spotlessly clean. Super comfy double bed. More than adequate breakfast and snack foods, including fruit, cereal, jams, pain au chocolate & fresh milk in the fridge. Even complementary small bottles of red & white wine

Not able to get car to access as I have to walk with walking sticks Toilet and shower very tight and we both found it difficult to move around I would suggest that you get. The hot water adjusted as hot water was only warm And also suggest a grab rail on left of toilet and a grab rail in the shower

We had no issues with owner or premise however we did experience problems either the info provided by Booking.com in that we had emails identifying two flats for our stay. We contacted David, the owner & thought matter was resolved. We moved into our room at 1:30 pm but when we returned at 9pm our Tom was occupied & we had to move. The new room was excellent but we were concerned that the system allowed this mix up to occur.

The continental breakfast was excellent. There was lots of fresh fruit, orange juice & choice of cereal & hot frinkd

Parking was a little bit away.

Comfortable and clean. Lovely setting.Never met any staff. Breakfast ok. Wine a nice touch. Bed comfortable. Quite area even though outside is busy with dog walkers and runners. Certainly would return.

The breakfast is not a traditional cooked breakfast as you would expect from a BnB but cereal, toast, yoghurt, and fruit that is left at the room so you can help yourself. Also the lock on the front door needs attention as it was tricky to lock.

My parents stayed at the Bayview for their visit to Stonehaven. They enjoyed it, especially the view.

Absolutely nothing

We stayed for 2 nights at Bayview bed and breakfast to do a costal walk to Dunnottar Castle and Fowlsheugh and this was the absolutely perfect place to stay. Large room, super comfortable bed, great selection of breakfast options and in an excellent location. The host David was excellent and super helpful when we had a query about the heating and he came round immediately to sort it out. For anyone looking to stay in Stonehaven, I would 1000% recommend you stay here.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and have always found our host David to be very friendly and helpful. The room is large with a very large and extremely comfortable bed. Excellent Seaview and in a central location.

The bathroom situation although private was not 'en suite', it was through a glass door off the room which felt a little disconcerting even though I had exclusive access. The bathroom also had a sliding door which was heavy and stiff and very hard to manage. Also because of the nature of the town, parking is not available immediately beside the room and one must use the pay and display car park nearby, it's just annoying shuttling luggage to and fro in the rain.

The location of the room was great and the kitchen area was very generously stocked with breakfast items and wine.

A decent sized shelf in the bathroom would be better for toilet and make up bags to sit on. Webby and dirty at the top of window above wee kitchen area. Floor could have been much cleaner. Despite this it's an excellent venue which I would definitely recommend.

Location was great. Parking was easy. Facilities and supplies excellent. Enjoyed the choice for breakfast. Had a great sleep. Later check out time was appreciated too.
