We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

The food was excellent for both lunch and breakfast. The granola tasted freshly home made and delicious.

United KingdomOverbooking in the restaurant meant we had to wait for a table-or eat in the library on our own. As my niece and husband had travelled to eat with us it was very disappointing. Dogs not accepted in dining room-which is fair enough but when you are shown to another room to eat and there is no table set it is, and I say it again, disappointing.
Location has access to walks around Berry Head, as well as to Brixham-downhill on the way there! Shoalstone seawater swimming pool on that route. As the weather was kind the opportunity to sit outside was taken, plenty of comfy cane seating on terrace, overlooking the bay with lots of passing boats, yachts to view. Comfortable bed too. Breakfast very acceptable with range of options-Full English good start to the day. Sandwiches and lunch also very good as was seafood salad in the evening-well if you like seafood. We stayed with our dog and there was a little doggy welcome pack of biscuits and poop bags on the side which I thought was a nice touch. Staff helpful and pleasant.

United KingdomThere are a few things that are easy fixes like a stain on the carpet in the room and the shower head just needs replacing as it is so clogged with scale it doesn't work properly. Just little things which would make it nicer. However this didn't spoil our stay.
Room had lovely side view of the sea, and everything that you need was available ie. towels, soap, coffee, bottle of water etc. Breakfast was outstanding, best I've ever experienced, huge amount of choice and excellent quality and service. The service throughout our stay from arrival to departure was first class. There were plenty of staff around ready to help you with anything, and always happy and smiling. Quick service on the bar etc. We ate in the Bistro both evenings and the food was absolutely amazing. Got talking to a few people and seems there are many locals who use the Hotel, which speaks volumes!

United KingdomThe windows don’t open far, the weather was beautiful and being on the second floor with the heat rising the room was stifling. The hotel has been upgraded since our last visit with comfortable outdoor furniture, sadly the tables were left full of plates and glasses, waiters would deliver food and walk back with an empty tray past dirty tables. This attracted wasps and seagulls which was annoying. There is an area set aside for hotel guests, but that was closed due to a wedding, no other area was reserved and it was busy leaving no seating for guests, which was annoying. We booked the hotel to celebrate our Pearl wedding anniversary, I’d made the hotel aware and asked if we could have a window table in the restaurant, it wasn’t even mentioned, a nice touch would have been to at the very least wish us a happy anniversary, a simple but effective touch missed sadly.
We had a room with a side view which was a good size and lovely and clean and tidy. This hotel is in a fabulous location with stunning views. It’s a nice leisurely walk into Brixham and onto the headland. We’d stayed many times at this hotel and will return again

United KingdomThe room was a little small, and extractor fans were noticeable especially early morning. This is however an extremely harsh criticism.
The whole ambiance was very good, popular with none residential clients for lunch and evening meals. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the breakfast was self service buffet, both continental and full English available. The room was very clean, with complimentary refreshment tea coffee and biscuits. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had small bottles of complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking Tor Bay. Berry Head is a short walk away. I have asthma and managed the climb up the steep coastal path all beit slowly. In the opposite direction Brixham harbour is a 20 min walk away via road or past the lido.

You not expecting that, especially when you pay high price for staying in such place for 1 night. Swimming pool - required to book in advance as there is 45 min slot and no more than 8 people can go in.The room / apartment needed more cleaning.
