The room was large but the tv in there was the size of an iPhone three couldn't even see it from the bed. The pillows were like two a4 sheets of paper did not sleep very well at all during my two night stay. The spa is an extra cost of £20 per visit I didn't mind but maybe it should be £20 extra and you get to have a session for the duration of your stay ? Place was a bit dated.

Spa was great. Great scenery and the hotel although a bit dated has a lovely countryside vibe to it. Very relaxing and the surrounding grounds and location are class.

Room could have done with updating. Bathroom door was in a bad state of repair and had damage due to damp/moisture ingress. Had to pay extra for use of leisure facilities although wasn’t advised of this at time of booking. Had to pay extra for full English breakfast. On a positive, lovely views over lake.

Size of my room, shower area small and bed size was ridiculously small was meant to be a double bed definitely smaller! Room was really hot no Air conditioning and only a small window to open.

I assumed we were getting a bigger room for the price we paid. We’ve been before and had one of the bigger rooms with a larger bathroom.

View from room , breakfast was a bit disappointing when we found out that a full English was extra. The continental was ok though.

It was too expensive. We paid around £25 for 2 spirits and a mixer, single or double, that’s a lot. The treatments at the spa were fully booked. We paid £20 for the spa itself which was good value for money but there were too many people in order fit comfortably in the saunas or steam rooms. There were no lifts available from the bottom set of rooms to the main lobby, definitely not wheelchair friendly, I’m asthmatic so had to stop after each of the 3 stair cases. You cannot walk into town from the hotel so either you have to drive or wait a while for a taxi, so book taxis in advance!

The hotel decorated our room for my partners birthday which was a lovely touch! There was a spa in the hotel and overall it was a nice place to stay. Our room was right next to the lake which was beautiful if the whether had held out for it.

The hottubs were above our room so noisy from 8am-8pm. Massive gap under room door and light shing in through the night. £20 per person for 2 hours for pool and sauna. I cancelled our spa the night before then tried to charge me for it. Dusty room and hairs on bed.

The room was less than basic and really small, also no full length mirror in there, if you wanted to see a reflection of yourself you’d have to use the mirror hanging over the desk which was covered by the desk chair, only problem is that to move the desk chair you’d either have to trap yourself in the corner of the room or rearrange the furniture. Definitely not worth the money. Breakfast is described as “extensive”; however there’s nothing extensive about it: two cheeses, two cured meats, 4 types of cereals in jars with no spoon to get them out, a couple of pastries and some bread.

Bed was 2 beds put together so was uncomfortable to sleep on together, poolside had kids outside in hot tub even though it wasn't meant to and signs but no staff around to endorce so wasn't as relaxing as we would have liked plus we booked quiet time 6pm with kids In pool wasn't as quiet as we thought it would be

Disingenuine marketing. Marketed as breakfast included, but was no mention of this being only continental, with extra charge for hot breakfast! Same with the spa, we were surprised that it was charged at £20pp per day. Wish the hotel had a gym too.

The location was fantastic. Beautiful views from the balcony and spa area. Spa is really modern and of high quality. Room size was very good (Stayed in a Lake View Double).
