We got in touch with the host, and they indicated to pick up the keys at a near by pizzeria. The place was great and location was perfect! However, either we were not able to work the AC units or they were broken. There was a portable AC that did a great job, but we were a little hot.

Communication with the host regarding check in and check out. It would have been nice to have received instructions prior to check in time. We ended up going upstairs to the apartment just to have to come back down and collect the keys at a pizza place down the street. It wasn't a big deal, just a little frustrating to waste our time like that. There were 2 AC units in the place that turned on and seemed to work, but only blew out warm air. It was bearable to sleep overnight for me, but it wouldn't be for the average American.

Awesome location, just a few minutes away from lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment is cozy, clean and just big enough. The kitchen is fully equipped, although we didn't use it. Water was hot :)

Minor things that didn’t impact our enjoyment. The dishes weren’t cleaned very thoroughly so had to rewash prior to use and the shower drain was slow to drain.

Small street but very noisy in the morning, as local market traders store their carts/stalls on wheels next door to the property and every morning around 6 am they take them out.

Great location in city centre if you wish to explore the town and to go out without using a taxi, with several great restaurants just next door to the property. Grocery shop next street. Good size apartment with kitchen, big sofa bed (2 adults) and double bed under the sealing. Beautiful, stylish authentic. Wifi extension some times playing up - just reconnect it. On/Off button. Air conditioning/heating - apart from remote control you have switch on the power on the wall. (Next to the light switch).

The internet was unusable. the only way I was able to get a connection was by Tethering my phone and hanging it by the curtain on the window

The AC did a rattling noise in the lowest speed mode (should be easily fixed by screwing what might be loose); Typical BnB style decoration from Paris, etc; The entrance is strange to some because it looks like an apartment split in two, but that's not a big deal.

Great location; It's in an old apartment full of character, just like you see in the listing pictures; We booked last minute and since the host/manager live in the building, the check-in process couldn't be better.

Friendly staff, it was clean and spacious enough for 3 people. Amazing location, flexible arriving/check out. Girl which welcomed us was friendly but she didn’t talk English much.

In fact these are 2 apartments and the one we got was not fitting to the fotos (no gallery) and was much darker.

AC not working in the hottest day of the year, I couldn’t sleep, cleaning was not good, uncomfortable bad (too close to the roof), the lady who received us didn’t speak English which was very hard to communicate. The property in on the process to refund me because they understood they didnt offer everything it was sold.

The location is a bonus for sure.

Little bit harder bed for me, maybe pillows could be bigger. A little bit of shower gel would be useful but it's detail.

Awesome old building and ceiling. Everything you need is inside even such things as salt and sugar. Air-conditioning in every room. Located in the city centre so you can admire Florence all the time! Perfect!

Below average communication, ceiling in bedroom VERY LOW. Head banger ceiling. Half used roll of toilet paper with no extra rolls. Worst thing ***Only way to receive WiFi was to sit next to WiFi hub in the entrance hallway.***

VERY well located, in the heart of Florence, which allows you to go sightseeing by foot. there’s also nice restaurants, supermarkets and stores nearby. the apartment is very clean and comfortable. loved it!

1. In the time of arriving owner was unavailable. At all. No responce by phone for ~1 hour and any signs on the enterance. We waited, called, waited, called... it was terrible 2. I've booked appartments. It was described as a hall+bedroom. but, IMHO, the bedroom should have a door, not just curtains! bedroom without door is not a bedroom 3. dishes, forks, cookers, coffee maker - everything was VERY dirty. I don't know why should I pay 30EUR extra for a cleaning - we've clened everything, not owner.

Location is really the best. Very close to Uffizi and David.

This is not due to lack of cleaning but its because the toilet is kind of loose and all the water that comes from it sinks in the floor making most part of the bathroom wet and the whole thing smelly. -The wifi randomly works as the wifi machine is located in the other room (the beatrice apartment) as we conplained about it they brought us a wifi cube but didn't provide the network name so couldn't use it.

The “Dante” room is not for 4 people, this room is max for 2, maybe only one. The bed is upstairs, where the ceiling is so low that I injured my head multiple times. The stairs are dangerous. There were not enough bathroom’s towels for 4, even after calling the owners. The air conditioning was not working, and the portable air conditioning was also poorly working and incredibly noisy, and anyway fell off the window in the middle of the night. We tried to sleep without air conditioning but it was incredibly hot and there was a lot of noise from the street even in the middle of the night. We have not slept well and left Florence early as we were exhausted. I would not recommend this place, unless you know exactly what to expect and are ok with it.
