Small point. My room had blinds which didn't completely keep out sunlight when closed. So, staying in mid-June with excellent sunny weather, I was woken-up very early in the morning by the sunlight. As it happens, I wanted to wake early anyway, but this could be a problem for others.

Location was fine, Kitchen was well organised and clean. Would definitely recommend it. Also I thought I may have left something behind when I left - I asked about this, and was later contacted to say the cleaner confirmed there was nothing left, so I was impressed my query was properly dealt with. (I had in fact later dropped the item at a train station).

It was a bit strange that one of the ovens, when opened, could short-circuit the whole house, but I'd imagine that that problem is solved now. It wasn't much of an issue anyway because there were 2 ovens, and we were able to contact the owner immediately to get it solved for us (he lives nearby).

I liked that everything in the kitchen was provided to us, even detergent! There were also foldable racks to put your laundry on, and tons of space despite the fact that this place has 8 rooms. While, of course, it is difficult to comment about the roommates aspect since they'll always be changing, the rules in the house are clear as to who has what space and what belongs to who, and everyone has their own cutlery and crockery, and also some common ones to share on top of that.

I understood that there was off road parking though this may have been my error. Parking near the house was difficult a couple of times and important for me as I was taking in and out music equipment and also was experiencing back problems during my time there. Similarly the narrow and twisted staircase made access difficult for me and carrying heavy cases and bags near impossible. (The host was very helpful in this respect, see above).

The facilities in the house and the room were very good. The room itself was large and comfortable. The shared facilities were very good and the fridge / cupboard space welcome. It meant that being self-sufficient and independent was straightforward. Desk space in the room was generous. Messages were responded to promptly during my stay and the host was extremely helpful when I need assistance carrying my luggage out.

Doors, the doors are super loud and you cant shut them or open them quietly. the locks on the doors make alot of noise too. The blinds in my room were hard to use. The windows are really hard to open and shut

The shower temperature tap was jammed or locked on very hot which made it uncomfortable to shower for long periods. Bathrooms had some stains between the tiles but nothing too major or discomforting.

Good way away from shops and a decent walk to nearest bus stops on filton main road. Cleanliness of house was great, bathrooms could've been better but otherwise great. Great washing and drying for laundry even includes a dishwasher.

Could do with bread board and chopping boards to save work surfaces. Heating was on despite warm weather. Shower head in en suite needs replacing.

Flushing system doesn't work so well sometimes. Noises of decoration contracting from the house nearby for some days.
