Lift is not operating properly, Always need to inform @ reception for clean to the room. There is no guarantee house keeping will clean the room or not? Moreover always you should collect the milk ,coffee ,sugar and tea from the reception.

Having to pay for parking and then re feed the meter first thing in the morning was a nuisance. The staff began cleaning up breakfast and spraying disinfectant around while we were still eating. Yes, it was nearly 9.30 but I think they could have waited a few more minutes.

There was no hot water for most of the day on Saturday due to a boiler issue. The rooms had marks on the walls.

It was right in the city centre. The bedding was clean. It was really cheap.

The bed was uncomfortable, the room was cold, wallpaper in ceiling and wall was peeling off. General upkeep was poor. Tv was tiny for the room as were the bed sizes. Needs upgrading generally

After our night out we went bk to our room but the corridor smelled of cannabis being smoked in one of the rooms. Loads of loud shouting at 0300 Went to have a shower in the morning no hot water

it would have been easier to get into Fort Knox. On arrival, I was asked for photo identification and showed my bus pass. The staff insisted this was not good enough even though you have to show your passport, a recent invoice, etc to get one. What's the difference from a driving license? Eventually, I was given the benefit of the doubt because I hadn't stayed there before and allowed in. The place was basic to say the least and I would imagine they could do with the custom!

Room had wardrobe door missing, curtains were hanging off and one of the twin beds had pertruding springs.

The location was excellent. The staff tried to be helpful.

The hotel staff didn’t seem to know when there bar was open till we asked main reception they said 11 o’clock when we got down to the bar it closed at 9 o’clock and when we went outside after a certain time the doors was locked tried to press the buzzer for the reception to let us back in and they wouldn’t open the door some other guest at the hotel had to come open the door while reception staff just stood there

My goal is to stay in a clean and safe hotel for a good price. So I think it is pointless to complain.

Location is very good. All needs can be reached by walking. It is a safe hotel. I am thinking of coming again.

Heating wasn’t turned on in the hotel until loads of people complained. Had to ask for a portable heater for the first couple nights. Bathrooms had a weird musty smell if you have not used it for a few hours. Room isn’t serviced everyday like other hotels such as Ibis. Breakfast could of had a few more hot vegetarian options. Overall hotel could be updated as it’s quite old. They make you pay for wifi when in your room of approximately £7 a day which I find is not a good service due to your normally pay for the basic necessities in your room price such as toiletries, wifi and tv. There was a giant crack in the sink and was only sealed over and not replaced. Toilet didn’t flush properly and would leave the loo roll used floating in the basin.
