Host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Very happy with our stay. Our room was perfect, breakfast was great and all in all was a great experience.

Great location and stunning countryside.

The host was very welcoming and friendly, we got there a little before the time we said which wasn’t a problem. Told us about the stunning location and where we could go for a meal and drinks. Told him we were leaving extra early due to going to an event, we weren’t expecting to have the continental breakfast but he said we could go in and have something is we wished which to us is going above and beyond. We were very grateful for this. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Our stay was really nice and can’t fault it at all. We are hoping when we come to Liverpool again we can stay here again. Big thank you

Breakfast was outstanding! Offsite Staff also outstanding, great sense of humour, meeting us quickly when we finally made it to our destination. Excellent information shared including bus info into Liverpool. Room was cosy and warm. Very nice linen. Enjoyed tea and coffee facilities in our room.

Wifi signal was weak, but that was a minor inconvenience.

I could not get there until after check-in time and then left early the next morning for the airport and the host was very accommodating in both cases.

The blind in the room was tricky to work so we ended up securing it to the door handle. The walk to the village was about 10/15 minutes. Walk to the airport however was about 40 minutes so my advice would be to take the bus.

Lin was really helpful, room & dining area was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options including fresh fruit. Easy access and we felt safe & secure. We chose this as it was close to the airport and we should have had a hire car but didn’t due to unforeseen circumstances. Plenty of secure parking if we did though.

It was all perfect

Everything was brilliant! Such a friendly welcome, in an idyllic rural village, yet very convenient for visiting Liverpool. We also though that it would be absolutely perfect for anyone flying from Liverpool Airport or visiting Chester or north Wales.

Very warm welcome from Ian. Room was spotless clean. Great location right beside the airport. Ian went out of his way every morning to drop me to my course which was amazing saving the stress of taxis incase they're delayed.

Brilliant accommodation, 5 minutes from Liverpool airport, absolutely spotless and our host could not have done more to make us feel at home. An utter gentleman. Excellent base for touring the area, or, like ourselves, for staying in prior to a flight from John Lennon Airport. Very reasonably priced, secure parking, fine facilities and extremely comfortable bed!!!

Excellent continental breakfast eating area. Nice and peaceful surroundings and very clean. Lovely local walks and close to a couple of pubs and a restaurant in the village.

The location was great. We had a lovely was in the evening into Hale village and down to the lighthouse on the Mersey.
