Spa facilities were great, staff were very helpful and friendly and provided the Bentley car service which was a great feature to use.

Spa was busy and no where to sit or put towels as all taken.

Room was amazing we had a hot tub. Staff was very friendly and great help. Will 100% be back!

Sadly the weather wasn't great so the spa was exceptionally busy

Friendly staff, relaxed and chatty yet professional. When we told them we were celebrating a birthday of one of our party they arranged a lift to restaurant in a Daimler. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome

PG Tips Tbags! The worst & no other choice & no choice of oat milk or question of allergies or intolerances when sat down for breakfast. Also spa the chlorine was that strong my eyes were stinging & I couldn’t stay in there for long due to this. Was worse when I got in the jacuzzi, my eyes were streaming & also a part of the side was missing. Just little things you wouldn’t expect from a 5*

The staff were incredible! The place was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The room with a hottub was perfect and had beautiful views. All staff are friendly and helpful. Great location with only a 2 minute walk to the marina. Only a short walk to the ferry. Loads of walks to explore. Just a perfect weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday.

Didn’t like having to pay for parking as we hadn’t booked direct with the hotel. Unfortunately the dates that we booked weren’t available direct with the hotel and we had to use booking.com. The bar food in the pub at the spa was very disappointing and we left most of it. Never known my wife leave any chips unfinished before! The shower cubicle in our room (236) was very small and the controls didn’t work properly. The choice was either boiling hot or cold, not the best experience.

We enjoyed the alterations to the little pub in the spa, the new space works really well. We enjoyed the food and experience at the new Mizumi restaurant. The staff on reception were very nice and helpful. Liked being personally welcomed by the very friendly lady in the gatehouse. A nice simple but effective touch

Only thing that could make it better is if the spa was attached to the hotel. You have to walk outside to get to the spa which is fine but with the British weather isn’t always great! Would pack some sliders next time

Hairdryer could have been better! GHD would have been ideal. This is the only thing that could be better which just shows what an excellent hotel it is!

Location was wonderful- nice walk into Winderemere and lovely views from the terrace. Hot tub was great - exceptionally clean and I liked how the terrace was protected from the rain - something we ended up really appreciating! Hot tub was roomy which I was concerned about since it was just for 2 people but we each had plenty of space. Room and bathroom was spotless. Heated mirror in the bathroom was a nice touch. Lovely Elemis products. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
