Room with sea view. SUNRISE and a lovely day. Did the Park run and Host made us breakfast afterwards. Lovely lady.

Our room was at the top of a lot of stairs, request a lower room if you have mobility issues.

Mariea was a great hostess. The English cooked breakfast was just right quantity and cooked to order. Generous with fresh coffee too. Other options for breakfast were available but we didn’t try them. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and promenade. It was a generous family sized room with a small en suite, with shower . Lots of radiators for chillier stays. Fridge and kettle were available to use in the room. Location for seaside was amazing for both families and dogs.

I’m sorry to say this is not the cleanest of BnBs , room 2 which we were in was on the ground floor backing onto the breakfast room ,no chance of having a lie in when you can here everyone and everything going on ,in our bathroom there was mould on the ceiling and I’m sorry but when the sheet rolled back off the mattress this morning OMG 😦 scary this definitely needs to be replaced we do have pictures showing to back our comments up but at this stage we won’t be posting them ,these will be shown to booking.com directly giving the owner chance to rectify these issues

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property, it was amazing all around!

Rooms cold but plug in heater provided and bathroom a little snug if you are of larger proportions.

Fabulous views and breakfast, Maria very lovely host and staff very nice too, beds comfy and slept well.

It was just a bit cold in the room. I sympathise, heating costs are horrendous and the big windows facing the sea and the wind must make it harder to heat (while giving a lovely view). It was cold when we arrived at teatime but cosy in the evening, but we would really have liked a bit of heating while getting ready for breakfast!

Mariea is lovely, really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. Also her breakfast choice was great and her American pancakes delicious!

The sheet on the bed in room 1 wasn’t big enough to cover the bed and left the mattress visible The doors to the dining room and kitchen were left open for breakfast service which meant you could smell cooking while eating your breakfast

Not so much a gripe - guest house is very well situated for Spanish City area and the few shops / arcades near there, the Playhouse and of course the beach/sea. BUT, it's a lot further away from the town centre - not too much, but just something to be aware of! And if you can, get there for a free parking place just round the corner! Trying to park in the car park nearest the guest house was a nightmare due to faulty software on the firms part... I eventually gave up and circled around again until a free space turned up...

Went for the upgraded room on the ground floor... so no stairs for me!! Room was big, airy and above all CLEAN! Bed comfy and big enough for me (I'm 6' 4"") Nice size TV that (would have) synched with my phone / apps - but didn't need to use it - and a mini fridge in our room as well!! The breakfast the next morning was tremendous - made to order full English!

Only niggle was the thin dividing wall with the next room and rather noisy neighbours! Only one night tho’ so didn’t spoil my stay.

The windows had blinds, not curtains so we were woken up with the bright daylight in the morning.

Its only a small thing, but there was used shower gel bottles in the bathroom.from.the previous guest. This wasn't a major issue.
