The location was really good and close to restaurants. Staff were really nice. Unlucky for us our room was third floor and the lift was out of action not good for when you’ve just completed a marathon.

I cannot open the windows and the location was really in front of the metro so you can hear the Metro all night long. There are no socket near the bed, I found it hard to charge my phone next to the bed.

GPS led us in circles trying to find the place. Not great fun having to lug suitcases through several blocks in the rain. Room for 4 people had 1 chair and had difficulty figuring out the shower at first. Hallways smell a bit. Someone should climb up in the bunks to check the walls when cleaning. Definitely could have used a flat sheet or something more lightweight on the bed. No choice but to use heavy duvet or nothing so either hot or cold. Need exact change to purchase items at front desk.We arrived early from NYC, long travel and could not use bathroom to freshen up while we waited all day for room to be ready. Would not allow early check-in.

Near most of the things we wanted to see and could walk to them. Front desk very helpful with suggestions and when we needed assistance. Able to leave bags with staff before check-in.

Little things which could easily be rectified- only one chair (this is a double room), bedside lights were pathetic, duvet was too small. The lift was on the blink when we were there and got stuck a few times (not betwen floors!). The vibration from the passing trams was noticeable.

The hotel was ideally placed within walking distance of Princes Street. There was a good choice of eating places close by as well as food shops. The room was large and airy. The double windows kept most of the noise out. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful

Regarding value for money it was the most expensive in our Scotland trip, but the location was very good as close to the city centre. The room was oldish, the walls a bit wet because of the climate.

No air conditioning. Suite says sleeps 4, bed was decent size, however sofa bed would fit one person comfortably so 2 adults would be a bit of a squeeze. Double rooms and suites are in different buildings so some of our travelling party were separated.

Hotel in great location. Suites were spacious and clean. Sofa bed already made up for you. TV with decent channels and Netflix. Front desk staff efficient.

The room faced a very busy street so it was quite noisy. Especially on a Saturday night as there are pubs and restaurants around. Also wi-fi on the 3rd floor was very weak.

The location is very good. The room was very spacious and comfortable, it had everything that was needed.

The sofa bed was not used as the bed frame was falling apart, and the mattress was so thin and uncomfortable. Thankfully, there was enough room for my child to sleep on the bed (which was very comfortable). We were also woken up at 5:30 am by a fire alarm, which turned out to be a false alarm. They weren’t able to turn off the alarm right away so we’re waiting outside for almost 30 minutes. We were pretty cranky that day.

The bed was super comfy, the room surprisingly quiet even though we were facing a busy street, room overall was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. The location is perfect, as we were able to easily walk to the main attractions.

I ran our of hand soap and body wash and had to leave a note for the cleaners to replace them. No plug sockets near the bed.
