The location. Everything worked. Staff responded well to requests. Accepted payment in cash - wonderful! Proper windows that opened.

Bathroom was compact, but again, very clean.

Very close to the train station. 24 hour desk, so our late arrival was easily accommodated. Incredibly clean.

Narrow stairs which were dangerous. Very small bathroom. Lack of air. No hand towel or face washer. Train noise. Basic furnishings.

Unfortunately there are noisy building works going on across the street which woke us at 7am.

Excellent value for money. Location ideal for travelling the next day on Eurostar from St Pancras. Good facilities. Comfy room. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Overall it was a good experience. First of all, the location is good. It is close to King Cross Station where are many lines. The staff was great, very helpful. It was no surprise that the room was small, so it would be useful to check the photos beforehand. Also daily cleaning etc. it was good.

Rooms quite small but for one night no problem. The staff in the day were fab but the person on reception at night was rude and unhelpful. Despite us telling her our room numbers she kept saying we didn’t have a booking. Despite the fact we’d checked in earlier in the day. Gave her my name still said no, I had to show her my booking confirmation email again in the end and she then gave us the keys we’d told her we’d ours earlier! She didn’t even apologise!

Basement room Walking along pavement people from outside could watch in. The check in was a bit rushed and not super friendly, you are supposed to check in online but was not so clear and they were in an hurry.

Very convenient location next to the station, no frills hotel with competitive price. Good Wi-Fi and free water and tea in the room. Beds ok for people that are not too big otherwise could be a bit short and narrow beds.

Although the room was small, it was well supplied, clean and comfortable. Tea and biscuits topped up daily - a nice touch. Really handy for the main train stations. Friendly, helpful staff.

The bathroom was extremely small.

The room was nice, but very tiny. Everything was tidy and there was an extra space under the bed to put your belongings. The location is very convenient and surrounded with shops, bars and restaurants. Tube station is nearby, which makes it easy to access.

The building site opposite was only noisy during working hours, it started up around 8.15am, but we were already up and ready to go to St Pancras. The decor was dark wood which others may like.

Perfect for an overnight stop, especially for a Eurostar trip! Everything was fine with the staff and the room. We had a ground floor room which was small, with a very small bathroom, but ok for a short stay. A pleasant view of the street and St Pancras. Excellent location to visit the new area of shops and restaurants around King's Cross and Regents Canal.

The room and beds were on the small size (we had a family from for 3 adults) but for what we paid it was great. It's an old house room only but bar facilities and tea coffee ect clean and cleaned after 1 day!

The location was amazing!! Just literally over the road from Kings Cross. The lady at reception was fantastic very attentive!! (sorry forgot your name, dark long hair)

Great location for Eurostar services, just a couple of minutes walk from the terminal. Our triple room was very clean and the hotel is well maintained and has a 24 hour reception

Shame the site opposite was a building site and there was no mention of this when booking. Prices of rooms could have reflected the noise inconvenience. The mattresses were of a good firmness. Sadly the pillows were like bricks. The beds were a little narrow.

The staff were friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The location was near to the station and local shops. The room was very clean including the bathroom. Glad of the bar to get a decent coffee as I didn't bother with the instant sachets in the room.
