There was nothing to dislike.

The people who own the house was very good and helpful. They are the best of the best. Would recommend the hotel to family and friends. I have never stay at a hotel before like it. The breakfast was very good. Worth five stars .

There is off road parking which made the arrival and check in very easy. Pat was very welcoming and the rooms were lovely! There was everything that you could need with lots of little extra touches (not to mention the cupcakes!!) The mattress was so comfortable....... Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection available. Easy to walk to the seafront and town.

Bed could of been a little firmer but this personal preference. Nothing else.

Breakfast was lovely.. freshly cooked every morning. Our preferences were accommodated and remembered. Both Pat and John engaged with all guests on first name basis and made us feel part of the family.

Pat & John were excellent hosts their guest house is warm very welcoming and our room was immaculate beautiful bedding very comfortable. Location was great would love to revisit them and would do when we return to Torquay.

We are a family who enjoys entertaining Our house rule is that guests remove dirty shoes. As it carries germs and bacteria throughout we provide guest slippers or they normally walk with their own. I couldn’t help but notice Pat and John had recently laid down new carpets throughout including the bedroom. Considering it rained for the duration of our visit it’s not nice coming in with dirty wet shoes. We took ours off and held it in our hands then put our slippers on. It’s just a thought! A house rule 👍🌹

The owners Pat & John went above and beyond to ensure our stay was welcoming. Pat took our breakfast order in advance so they knew exactly what to prepare in the morning. Without a shadow of doubt the breakfast was mind blowing it set us up until lunch time. If we were not sure of where we would be setting off to go, John with his amazing knowledge of the location and Torquay in general was paramount. This would set us up for the day in helping to plan our journey. We enjoyed the peace tranquility, friendly atmosphere. Great value for money eating out. Thank you Pat & John with regards to the delicious breakfast if you were to provide lunch and dinner we would definitely not have been able to explore the beautiful Torquay we would be too stuffed 😂 don’t change you are a great team working together to perfection to meet the needs and requirements of all who walk through your door.

The accommodation was immaculately presented, the hosts went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for Pat and John. They provided many extra touches to the room including a fridge. There is also free parking on site in addition to on road. Very conveniently located particularly for walking or getting local bus nearby. Also a local music venue only 5 minutes walk away. Excellent value for money and the breakfast choices were fantastic. Thank you both very much.

Just spent the weekend at this beautiful hotel pat and John are lovely host plus few extra touches are so thoughtful of them the breakfast was exceptional they couldn't do enough for thier guests will definitely be returning Chris and Allison xx

The hosts were fantastic and a total credit to hospitality, the personal touches like cakes in the room and fresh milk in the in-room fridge, the breakfast was cooked to order, beautifully presented and all top quality. Just a short stroll into town and plenty of parking, We visited the Princess Theatre which was a 10 minute walk away.

The host couple are the loveliest and most attentive hosts I have ever encountered in a uk hotel. They accommodation was immaculate, cosy, comfortable, well equipped, and simply a pleasure to stay at. This was a fantastic hotel experience and so well priced! Excellent breakfast, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, and even accommodated my request for an early breakfast without hesitation. This is a 10/10!

the friendly welcome, the great lady owner pat who was chatty and helpful with all requests whos husband we didnt get to meet due to john having knee surgery and members of the family who insure a great run guest house.
