There wasn't a restaurant

The room was spotless, very large, with a large bed and we were on the ground floor with patio doors that opened to decking with a table and chairs and garden.

Would have been good to have a few simple evening food options but we worked around it by ordering pizza in.

Room 11 was very comfy, the breakfast was great for the size of hotel. Location was great with beautiful gardens and grounds. Lots of parking available, staff were friendly and a nice little bar.

I did not like the road junction to get into the lane leading to the hotel from Farnham as turning right off the fast lane of the A31 into the little turning space before crossing the opposite carriageway was a bit scary. I would choose a different hall & stair carpet as it didn’t really go with the style and decor of the hotel.

I was so happy that there was a bath rather than just a shower. The bedroom was very spacious with lots of cupboard and drawer space. The bar was lovely and felt luxurious, nice beer too! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The house, gardens and grounds are beautiful.

Difficult to get the right temp in the shower and the walls were thin as we heard next doors loud TV which was a bit annoying and went on till midnight.

It was a great historic property with nice gardens and horses in the fields. The breakfast was excellent and my wife was catered for with a gluten free menu.

Our room was very small, only basic facilities and couple in room next door was noisy and you could hear everything through the walls. Staff very pleasant, but at the time of our stay, only limited facilities for coffee, drinks, etc available

Bed was small and there was a few noises from the water in the pipes.

The room is more suited to one person, but can fit in two. You can hear the water in the pipes when someone uses the water in the next room. Bed was comfortable (just a little small) Staff were friendly. Felt safe Would come back if staying in the area again. It's useful when you mainly need a place to stay for the night, not necessarily spend hours in the room.

Breakfast was awful! I dont mind a buffet style breakfast but for goodness sake's it was cold The scrambled egg was like lumpy wall paper paste. The sausages were a very poor quality as was the bacon The bread used for toast was cheap supermarket style. If you cant be bothered to respect your customers by giving them a good breakfast and cutting corners then stop serving it until you get staff that can cook

The bedrooms are a little dated but they are clean and comfortable with a very comfortable bed and a powerful shower.

There was nowhere to hang our clothes I.e. no wardrobe. No choice of eggs for breakfast other than scrambled.

Polite staff, clean and comfortable room. Always plenty of hot water. Big, comfortable bed. Breakfast was well cooked, good choice of hot food. See below. Parking adjacent to hotel.
