Staff were super friendly, breakfast was lovely and there was a bus stop just outside the door to go into Portsmouth central. If you just fancy a takeaway or the wether is nice to sit on the pier would highly recommend The Old Pier Hut great food and value for money

I can’t fault the staff at this hotel, they were all exceedingly friendly, polite and helpful. Whilst the room was good, I don’t consider it matched the price paid. Whilst it was well equipped it was nevertheless rather oddly shaped and therefore, didn’t impress. That said, I did have a comfortable stay.

Wonderful hotel. Excellent value, great location. Staff go that extra mile with there service. Room was very pleasant and breakfast was not only free but very tasty indeed. Please keep up the good work. This proves how hospitality on a buget should be done.

Off road parking is limited though permit for road parking outside was available.

Very clean and friendly helpful staff. Ideal location for our early ferry from Portsmouth and nearby restaurants. Second time of staying and already booked for July. Keep up the good work.

The curtains didn't block out a lot of light so I was woken up quite early in the morning, the toilet paper was scented which I personally can be sensitive to so prefer to use normal toilet paper.

Very comfortable bed, the jacuzzi bath was great and I opted for the celebration package which was lovely and great value. The location was great, very close to lots of bars and restaurants. And it wasn't too difficult to find parking with the permit.

The shower wasn't the best ( water pressure wasnt great) but we had a hot tube so wasn't that much of a problem really.

The room was decorated with petals, chocolates and bubbly (paid extra as it was my wife's birthday) and having a two person hot tub in your room was just brilliant, breakfast was included and was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful will be using again on our next trip down, lots of restaurants near by 5 minutes drive or 15/20 minutes walk, beach is 5 minutes away witht he canoelake which is all light up at night worth a little walk down, the pier is OK but very old and run down if you go further down the coast you will see Clarence pier, which is alot of fun.

Really can't find anything negative about this hotel.

On arrival I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and bright the hotel was. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable making my stay much more enjoyable. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom and exceptionally clean. Very comfy bed, crisp bedlinen, plenty of toiletries and tea/coffee. Breakfast was very nice and a wonderful selection ranging from fresh fruit, cereals to full English breakfast with a tasty vegetarian option. The hotel is in a great location with a nice park and the esplanade on the doorstep. Also plenty of eateries within walking distance. I will certainly be re-booking and recommend this hotel.

No hot water for my morning shower. The hotel can’t cope with all rooms needs at the same time and when asked for a refund, the management stayed silent. Absolutely no customer service.
