Suggestion not dislike -windows need a clean, living room sofa and tub chairs are tired and low so not comfortable or suitable for older visitors. With a small amount of investment on this and bathroom redecoration this could be a luxurious apartment

Amazing location close to Mcdonald Road tram stop and close to the Omni centre. Property is very large, good facilities. Beds were comfortable and clean, bathrooms showers are updated and very efficient but bathroom decor is tired however general cleaning good. Large eating space for up to 8

Unfortunately one of the showers and baths were not completely functioning. As we were staying over a w/e it was not feasible for host to get this attended to although he did make an effort to sort use of bath. The plumbing accessories need a bit of attention to make fittings more secure but am sure that host will attend to this, so should not be an issue for future guests. Windows are very large so curtains not always easy to close - some hooks need replacing but in most windows there are wooden shutters so this is not really a problem.

The flat has a "Wow" factor when you walk in and the space is amazing. It does need redecorating but that does not spoil the enjoyment. The location was fantastic with tram and bus stops right outside. The host was contactable and responsive. Despite the comments below (which should be easy to resolve) this was a great place to stay and would do so again

Downstairs bedroom needs a rug for the floor and extra heating in the winter. Could do with a paint refresh all over including the windows. A deep clean is needed especially the couches, windows (behind shutters) and bedrooms behind bed and doors. The doors could do with draft excluders fitting

Downside of those beautiful high ceilings and big rooms is it was a little slow to heat up in late November on a cold damp weekend but it was comfortable most of the time.

Location is fantastic. Central and minutes walk away from tram or buses. Area around is full of restaurant options and nice small shops. Playhouse and cinema just across the road. Apartment is a beautiful traditional Edinburgh tenement apartment with lovely original features. It fit the bill for our weekend trip very well. Owners very helpful too.

The location is awesome. First impression of proper is ‘wow’. Property could be amazing, if only some time was spent sorting out maintenance issues.

It was cold and damp in Edinburgh that weekend and we couldn't get the heating on. Had to phone the owners for the pin number, as it hadn't been sent

General shabbiness of furniture and decor, no toilet paper whatsoever provided on arrival, huge pile of cigarette butts on doorstep as if a very large ashtray had been emptied there. Many interior lights are not working, especially in the kitchen. Second bedroom is actually in a basement, which isn't made clear in advertising. Uneven floor / trip hazard at entrance to ground floor bathroom. Noisy at front of apartment, as it's directly on Leith Walk, with lots of traffic, trams and buses.

Location great, huge apartment, very high ceilings, two bathrooms, quiet in bedrooms at the back of the apartment. Comfortable, clean beds. Lovely old Edinburgh building.

The property is just in need of some TLC. Odd light switches not working, taps stuck onto bits of plain wood in the bathrooms, and honestly, the place just needed a good clean.

The electricity going off - it's on a meter Gas central heating being constantly on. Must be costing a small fortune. Needs a good lick of paint and new furnishings but it is reflected in the price. Noise from the other apartment's

Nothing about the property itself, but there was no plug for the upstairs bath, toilet brush was broken, no toilet cleaner, no bath cleaner, no bath cloths/wipes, no antibacterial wipes, no kitchen towel, or antibacterial spray and no dish cloths. All these things I would have expected to have been replenished by the cleaning company. The oven hadn’t been cleaned, so we had to wash a greasy oven tray and greasy grill pan so we could have supper on the first night. We had nothing to wipe the kitchen table or work surfaces after our meal. This was very disappointing and the first time I have encountered this when stopping in a Airbnb.

The house is beautiful. The location is brilliant if travelling by train as it is only 10 minutes walk from the station.
