The room was a little on the small size I felt, for myself & my friend but otherwise all was hunky dory!

Loved the location. Just up the road from our friend's place! The beds were so comfy & the staff were all really friendly & helpful! We missed the breakfast time slot, but the kitchen & general staff were still willing to fit us in! Plus they were more than happy to accommodate my restricted diet! I'll definitely be staying here again, next time I'm visiting friends down the road!

The chair wasn't very comfortable to sit on, but adequate.

Though a little dated it was such a comfortable bed with lovely linen on too and nice and quiet. I enjoyed my stay there for one night.

The evening meal we had was superb, as was the breakfast. The lodge accommodation was very comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. Communication was also excellent.

Set on a golf course, which offered nice views. We arrived on the Saturday afternoon for a one-night stay. It was quiet when we arrived, but busy with golfers on the Sunday morning. Quiet, room was spacious. Although there was a wedding evening being hosted, we heard nothing from our room. The bar did get a bit busy though because of the party spilling into it, but that was all good natured family fun.

Only one chair in a room for two people - we're too old and creaky to sit on the bed all evening, I took a camping chair but I shouldn't need to!

Efficient booking in, room electronic key actually worked! Every time, every door! 😆 Room extremely clean and tea etc plentiful, AND biccys! 😆 Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is lovely. Food excellent

Availability can be a problem, not the hotels fault at all but we'd love to book more, but depending on time of year or functions it can be very hard, Headcorn is a very hard place to stay due to a lack of nearby accommodation and the Weald is excellent for this.

Have used the Weald three times now as a base for visiting family in Headcorn, it's always very clean and for our needs is excellent.

When we walked into our room, it was freezing! The air conditioning had been left on full. We had to switch it off & put the heating on to get the room to a reasonable temperature. In all the commotion, my husband managed to break his glasses (worth £200) - not a brilliant start to our stay!

Room was comfortable & large. We had a snack meal in the bar on the evening we arrived and that was good - although we had to wait ages for our ice cream desserts. Breakfast good

Absolutely nothing wrong with the room but the bathroom was a little dated. Great water pressure in the shower though!

Amazing overnight stop on our way to the Eurotunnel terminal. Welcoming staff, very spacious room with comfy bed, good parking and had a nice drink in the golf club bar! Super easy checkout process and great location.

The stay was lovely. Lovely location, only 3 miles from where we were going the next day - the big cat sanctuary. Room was great and clean. Breakfast was brilliant. Village of Headcorn very nice. Lovely evening meal out.

Nothing much, it is a nice quiet place.

Nice place, good facilities, bar and restaurant although we did not use them. Great parking and nice an quiet. It's a golf course and there are obviously groups there enjoying a golf weekend but no problem at all.

It was a bit dated. But otherwise ok.

Although the room was basic it was clean and had an ample supply of tea, coffee and toiletries. The staff in the restaurant who served us during our evening meal and breakfast were polite, friendly knowledgeable and efficient. Well done to all. They would be a big plus for us deciding to return. B

BREAKFAST WAS FINE BUT THE EXTRA CHARGES FOR CEREAL, TEA AND TOAST ETC WERE VERY MISLEADING. NO BREAKDOWN OF THE EXTRA CHARGES GIVEN SO NEVER SURE WHAT WE WERE PAYING FOR.
