Only minor things: towel rank wasn’t working in the bathroom so was a little cold in there. Would also be useful if the WiFi code was in the room.

Had a good nights sleep as was nice and quite at night and had a comfortable bed. WiFi was also fast even though my room was in the courtyard.

Showers and pillows

Stayed at the location before and overall it’s lovely. Staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms although some dated are very comfortable and clean. My only gripe is the pillows (to hard for me) and the shower is wasn’t great although did the job. That’s just me being very picky!!

Gorgeous little B&B with a lovely comfortable clean room very friendly and obliging staff and exceptional value for money . It has a great pub and the food was very good . This is my 2nd stay here and I would highly recommend it . lots of free parking as well ..

bathroom wasn’t very clean with hair in the shower and the extractor fan very dusty. No proper breakfast offer due to staff shortages. When we first got into the room it was cold as the heating boiler hadn’t been switched on which was rectified quickly however the towel rail has been faulty for some time. We’d have expected a chair in the room however that wasn’t a major issue

Would have liked the option of a full English breakfast in the morning(not in a box),shingled car park is a little awkward for motorcycles, but nothing major.

Sent down a ‘dirt track’ by our sat nav. to reach it although it’s not remote!

Staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is good. The menu is varied and well priced. Something for everyone I felt. Breakfast not available but we were able to purchase a ‘breakfast box’. This was an insulated bag containing milk, cereal (2 small packs), 1 yoghurt, brioche bun, oatmeal bar, fruit. Enough for 2 people. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We stayed in a triple which has an en-suite with bath and shower. Toiletries and towels were provided. Free Wi-Fi available too.

The property gets locked in the evening at about 10pm so you have to remember to take your key with you to get in through the side door.

We would have liked a soap dish in the shower!

Our room was very comfortable especially the beds. The only downer was that cooked breakfasts were not available but ‘breakfast in a box’ taken to your room was an alternative. Our hosts were very entertaining, the bar had a great atmosphere and the beer was very well kept and reasonably priced. Big plus for us was very secure parking facilities.
