United KingdomNothing to dislike. Parking was limited but again, the staff were most accommodating when getting cars moved that were blocking us in.
The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Usual tea and coffee making with nice biscuits. Breakfast was excellent, everything cooked to order and beautifully presented. Staff were smiling and more tea and toast was always available. Didn't get chance to sample the dinner menu, left it too late to book.

Excellent breakfasts and our evening meal was one of the best for taste and presentation we have ever had. The staff were very attentive and service very good.

United KingdomThe only down side was that the bed in my room wasn’t comfortable at all. The mattress was very hard. However, my mother was in another room that was outside the main hotel and her bed was extremely comfortable! So it depends on the room I guess ☺️
The hotel, and restaurant, are fantastic! So friendly, and welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious for everything we ate - the breakfast especially! I would go back and stay anytime!

United KingdomThe parking was a bit of a mixed bag. There is free 2 hour on-street parking bays (until 6pm) and a very nearby pay car park, but the Hotel's own parking is a limited shared space for only 4 cars, meaning that more cars require the Hotel staff to juggle the cars. That said, our parking times worked around the free parking and there were always spaces. The breakfast end-time was slightly too early for us - especially at the weekend. Would prefer breakfast until 10am with an 11am checkout as we are not early birds and like a relaxed start to the day.
Really brilliant food and service at the restaurant and great breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The central Uppingham location is great for exploring this interesting town and the many small shops - including quite a few Antique shops.

United KingdomWe had an issue due to a problem with an airlock, which meant we had no cold water. However, we reported the issue which was fixed straight away, with an adjustment made to our bill. This hasn't deterred us from visiting again.
On arrival, we parked at the rear of the Hotel on Reeves Yard, where cars are parked nose to tail, we surrendered our keys to reception in case of blocking anyone in. Room 7 had a black and gold theme for the soft furnishings and was just about roomy enough. The bathroom was impressive with a whirlpool bath - there was an issue with water pressure (due to an airlock) but that got fixed as soon as we reported it. Dinner was sublime, definitely eat there, and the breakfast was wonderful, as all requirements are catered for.

Lovely clean room, big bathroom, powerful shower and whirlpool bath Restaurant was great! Food was delicious. The very undersold dessert with 'variations of English strawberries' was incredible! 6 ways to do strawberries, so creative! Staff were friendly and helpful. Near to Rutland water
