The walls are very thin, we did have noisy neighbours who watched TV loudly past midnight affecting our sleep. Obviously this is not the hotel's fault.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights spent at the Lamb and Flag. The room was fairly small but was clean and comfortable and the bed was also very good. Parking was not a problem. The location is a good base for walkers as it is in the foothills of the Sugar Loaf mountain. The food at breakfast was good and we were given a range of options at different prices depending on how much we wanted to eat. We also ate there for 4 evenings and the food was very tasty and good value for money. Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the manager runs the pub exceptionally well. For the price we paid we thought it was excellent value for money.

£120 is very steep for this property. Whist we loved our stay it was not value for money. Woke really early because the walls are very thin and could hear everything.

Loved the location of this hotel and the staff were amazing, couldn’t do more for us

As on a previous occasion, provision for cycles was non-existent---a serious flaw.

Nearly all the staff were excellent. In particular the member of staff serving breakfast was very helpful

Room 3 is rather small, not a problem for me as was travelling solo but a bit tight if more than 1 of you. The room could have been a little bit cleaner. Tea cups, saucers and spoons were dirty from previous occupant, and shower needs some TLC. Would've liked a small fridge in the room, as town is a little bit away, would've been handy to be able to have a small stock up and keep in a little mini fridge. Thought breakfast was very expensive, had poached egg and avocado on toast which was £8, usually about average, but only one slice of toast. Nevertheless, tasted really nice. Room got really hot at night and the fan in Room 3 needs the bolts tightening as the it droops so all cold air blasted at the floor. Listing also said mountain view, there wasn't one in this room, understand this happens with the listing sometimes so not the biggest issue.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, really nice atmosphere. Location was lovely and serene, out of town centre, surrounded by hills but walkable into the town (or a bus stops right outside) Good food in the pub, had an evening meal and breakfast. Nice modern rooms, really comfy bed, nice big TV on wall. Despite writing more for the cons section, I really enjoyed my stay here, would really recommend and will definitely be returning myself!

We would have liked a better variety of channels on the television.

The lady who greeted us was very polite and welcoming. The breakfasts were first class and Dave the owner made us feel very welcome and was very friendly. We would definitely recommend the Lamb and Flag to others. The location was beautiful.
