    The bedroom curtains were inadequate.

Traditional hotel layout in the middle of Clifton, convenient for the shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Handy parking next to the property. Bar and restaurant facilities were decent.

The stress about parking beforehand, which was unnecessary as there was enough street parking.

I asked for a quiet room and the room was actually very quiet and comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Room was small. Would have been difficult if you have a big luggage. No a good choice if you want to stay in your room.

In the middle of Clifton. Nice surroundings. Sufficient if you stay in Clifton.

No hot water in the morning unfortunately. This was at 0630. I think it was just a one off as I’ve stayed here a lot and never had this problem

Lovely location but felt that too much accommodation had been crammed into the building shell.

No/little ventilation in the bathroom. The mixer shower worked well although the bathroom in particular was looking a little "jaded". Our (south facing) room was stuffy at night and needed ventilation of its own or an easier to open/fix open sash window. Rooms too small- better perhaps to uplift prices and have fewer, larger rooms given the excellent location?

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and we were able to secure one of the few on site parking spaces which was a great help. Breakfast was excellent although supplies of "breakfast" basics were running low by the time we came down at 0930.

Nothing not to like about this place

Location was excellent for everywhere in Clifton. Parking was easy as they have their own private road outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice touch that they phoned the day before our stay to see if we had any questions/concerns. Would thoroughly recommend and stay again 👍

One of our rooms was on the first floor and the evenings were a bit noisy. All in all sounds did carry through the building.

The hotel is located in a very nice area in Bristol and feels very homey.

One big minus for me especially because I was traveling alone was the fact that the door was not locking from the inside and from the outside it wouldn't allow me to lock the door properly with the key and if seemed that if someone would have pool the door hard enough the door would have opened.

I liked the room and the location. I did appreciate the level of detail and that for a small single room, the space was very efficient. I also liked having a French press and proper ground coffee for my morning coffee available in the room.

A bit more space in the single room. The sink was also quite chipped.

It is excellently located for Clifton village and the staff are very welcoming. The single room is small but functional.

    nothing really.

Good value for the money. My single room was very small, but this is fine. No lift, but was not a problem for me either. The stuff was very nice and helpfull and the breakfast excellent. Although the hotel is not located in the center, it is well connected with a bus line. One of the highlights of Bristol, the historic brige and observatory are just about 10 min walking. Fantastic views. Also recomended to take a trail via a former cemetery nearby, about 5-10 min from hotel, impressive old gravestones in the middle of this part of the city.

The room was small and it was right at the top which proved to be a challenge after finishing a 15 hour shift. Housekeeping very noisy in the mornings too which meant I could not sleep in. Doors bang loudly so this also didn’t help.

Property was convenient and the staff were lovely.

If you book here, make sure to book breakfast. It’s very good! Otherwise don’t bother. Very small room. You hear all neighbors doing anything or coughing. I used ear plugs for the nights. Very competent and kind staff. Thank you!

The bathroom for my room needed some refurbishment. The parking was a nightmare! I chose the hotel because it said there was parking but the hotel only has 7 spaces outside and then when we finally secured one we had to pay for it.

We loved the location in Clifton with the bus into town literally outside the door and a short walk to the bridge. The breakfast was excellent. My daughter’s fiancé said that the eggs Benedict were the best he had ever had and for me the gluten-free toast was amazing!! The beds were very comfortable and the biscuits, fruit and fresh coffee in the rooms were a lovely bonus. I had a small single room and it was really cozy!
