The only downside is that the extractor fan in the bath room didn’t work so I did set my alarm off once I had a shower. But other than I can’t fault the hotel. I’d 100% recommend and stay here again.

Stunning building with lots of character, really warm friendly feeling when you walk inside. The room I had was the snug room and it was perfect size for myself and even for a couple. The bathroom was so nice and as well as the room itself. The shower was amazing so powerful. The facilities in the room had everything you needed from a hairdryer to toiletries encase you forgot anything.

In the room we stayed in there was quite a lot of white dust on the shelf above the bed and on the lamp on the desk ( I left a clean me message on leaving the room for the cleaner in the dust ) also I ordered fish chips and peas , when it arrived I had to ask where my peas were as they forgot them and I had 12 little chips ( yes I did count them ) I did mention this to the young lady that served us but never went any further.

The hotel was nice, a good location for our venue over the road , staff were polite and happy, the bar area was nice and a good atmosphere, it really is a beautiful hotel to stay at .Good price drinks at the bar also , although a couple of minor negative things which are easily rectified would we stay again? Yes we would, Thank you for a nice stay

Not going to find any faults as, for me, there weren't any.

Location, free parking, staff, food. We had a 'snug' room, which, although smaller than a normal room was very comfortable. Nespresso coffee machine and large TV. Shower was great too. Aircon was super efficient as it was 24c outside.

The Salisbury Arms has been refurbished to a very high standard, we very much enjoyed our stay. The room was tiny but it was in the description and was as much as we wanted to pay. The breakfast was amazing and we could not fault the staff.

Nothing was bad. There was a slight issue with my partner's breakfast, but it was rectified and we were subsequently not charged for it.

I had to move the booking to September because of illness, and this was no problem. The hotel has undergone a big renovation, and I have to say our room was fantastic. The staff were lovely.

Absolutely beautiful decor, the bathrooms are beautiful and clean. Huge bath! The staff were lovely and friendly. We had cooked breakfast the next morning, and the food was amazing too and nicely presented!

I did not want to leave so soon, and go home. Felt depressed going back to Work next day. Parking is very limited, but large car park is close by.

Massive renovation through out, all rooms fully air conditioned along with the eating areas and bars. Excellent lovely lively main bar with many tables to enjoyably eat at, with beers, cocktail drinks and wines. Very plush restaurant area with lovely fine food and comprehensive menu. Located on the pretty high street, surrounded by lovely period buildings and impressive church nearby. Staff and manager are all most helpful and nothing is beyond reasonable request. Perfect Central Hertford Town Location. I look forward to staying next time soon again :)

All good. Service was a little slow at breakfast on our second day, the staff struggled to cope with the rush at 10am. It didn’t feel that there was quite enough of them. Didn’t bother us though as we were not in a rush.

The hotel was very comfortable and dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was cosy and I loved the idea of the butler’s room where you could replenish your coffee pods and tea.
