the room above the pub was very loud, the music was lacking in insulation. because the pub itself is really good, but don't try to sleep over it. the toilet and shower were very cold

Entering the accommodation at the back of the building late at night, having to go up the slippery iron fire escape to enter our accommodation. The bathroom could do with a small heater and toilet roll holder and towel rail. The windows in the main bedroom could do with a good clean and the main light had only one bulb working out of five. The beds could have done with a mattress topper as you could feel all the springs.

The location was ideal for our needs and the staff were very good.

The beeping noise kept us awake till we discovered what was making the noise

The rooms where lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable and all of the staff we met where so wellcoming and polite the only problem we had was we woke up to a beeping noise in our room and we first panicked it may be a fire alarm then we realised it was coming from the tv because it was left on standby ,other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again to stay at the sheridans

There's a few things - the fan in the bathroom was very loud, the main light in the room was very dim - but again, I wasn't expecting anything fancy, and the room was clean and comfortable.

It's a budget option so I was not expecting anything palatial and it isn't. But it was perfectly adequate, the staff were great and it did the job for us

It would be better if there was a wash basin in the bedrooms and if the kitchen did not close at 6.45pm. We turned up at this time and were informed that the kitchen had closed early, as business was slow. This was after the manager had told us that last orders for food would be at 6.45pm. The staff were very apologetic though and offered us drinks on the house, which was very kind.

The location of the accommodation is very well placed and there was plenty of free parking. The service offers good value for money. I liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The shower was a bit rickety.

We were travelling to Liverpool for a concert but chose to stay at Sheridan's in Wallasey because the Liverpool city centre hotels were all charging ridiculous astronomical rates that weekend. The accommodation is fine, with a nice bar and restaurant downstairs. We got a (very) large room, and although it was slightly tired that was fine as the prices reflected this.

Rooms need a little revamp. Shower leaked into the downstairs. Had to stop and use shower located outside room due to leak.

The location is perfect. Staff and locals massively friendly. The vaule of price does not stop at the hotel it continues onto drinks and food. Making the whole experience an experience me and my family will come back and experience again and again.

Booked an ensuite on booking.com but arrived to find I didn't have one. Staff not particularly bothered about my predicament. Emailed the venue had no reply. Disappointed.

I had booked an en-suite room , only to be Told a few days before my visit that my room had a leak and I was being put in a room with a shared bathroom with other guests , I asked sue what would she offer for the inconvenience and I was given a free drink and meal , which I chose fish and chips which was perfectly cooked , John the head bar man even bought it to me personally , I love staying here due to the friendly staff , the location and the overall location .

I like the location as it’s very close to where I am going and I have an electric car which I can charge at a supermarket round the corner .
