- hot tub wasn’t set to correct temperature so upon arrival it wasn’t ready to enjoy yet and it took a while to figure out why it wasn’t hot and how to fix that. I’m sure this doesn’t often happen but it did for us unfortunately which meant we lost a whole days worth of hot tub time. Especially as I arrived at 3 and my friends didn’t until much later so I could’ve been basking in the tub wah! - The windy stays are cute but hurt your feet and it bruised the back of my leg with how I kept angling it to come down. Maybe only I had an issue with this but bring thick ankle socks and slippers for the steps! - a log burner would be amazing! - showers aren’t the most powerful but do the job!

-Location was a big plus! Lovely walks on doorstep through fields. Bring wellies as very muddy! -Exposed stone in The Barn is stunning. Handy dishwasher and of course hot tub was incredible. -Very comfy bed, stayed in the day bed on the landing and personally chose it because it was the comfiest!

The property was very noisey with too many creecks and echo's also the number of garden gate type doors inside the property seemed unnecessary.

The location was beautiful as were the rustic style accommodations and the modern kitchen well equiped

The facilities downstairs of the property were slightly worn ie, dinning table/chairs & sofas. A small welcome hamper would have been advantageous with some ‘essentials’.

the sauna wasn't working but I hadn't expected there to be a sauna - would have made a very nice surprise if it was working though!

minor thing but we could have done with a bit more cutlery and a range of glasses, just because we cooked all of our meals for the weekend in the cottage and used the dishwasher so would run out quite quickly.

The Granary is a beautiful cottage with nicely decorated rooms, three bathrooms with good showers and a hot tub in a private garden (not overlooked). lovely little farm shop on site and nice walking routes off into the countryside and nearby villages. large car parking area close to the cottages.

We wanted to have a quite & tranquil break over the New Year and decided to book The Rose Cottage. It was nice and comfy for a family of four and was looked after, check-in was easy. We had a small issue with a water leak from behind the fridge and someone promptly attended the property to have a look. The farm is in a very good location, not far from the main road but you don’t get disturbed by the traffic, good access to local amenities, there’s a Sainsbury, Costa Coffee nearby along with few other shops. Local take away's deliver at the property and the food is decent. We loved the hot tub, it was all setup before we checked-in and the kids had an amazing time enjoying the hot tub in cold temperatures. Wish we had stayed longer!!
