I was inspired by previous reviews, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I received a lovely friendly welcome and my room was perfect for my needs.

Nothing, everything was spot on.

I am not a breakfast person but it sounded to be excellent value speaking to other guests. The room was so clean, everything you needed, toiletries, towels, TV with a dvd player, tea, coffee....even a mini fridge. The bed was so comfy too. Annie & Alex couldn't do enough for you.

There was nothing negative about this property whatsoever.

The property was beautiful and clean and had interesting art all around the building. Annie and Alex were the perfect hosts and extremely accommodating. My room was beautiful and they had literally thought of everything you might need. I can’t wait to go back in August!

The location was great, it was very close to Peasholm Park, Northstead Manor Park and the North bay. Our breakfast was perfectly cooked and well presented. Our hosts couldn't do enough,were really pleasant and made us feel very welcome. There were tea and coffee making facilities in our room and toiletries in the bathroom. We would definitely recommend the guest house and would return.

What an amazing find. My room was clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities and the guest house is close to the North Beach and Peasholm Park. It was my first time to stay in a UK guest house so I wasn't sure what to expect. The hosts, Annie and Alex are wonderfully warm and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious. I will definitely be back to visit.

I liked everything about St Michaels Boutique Guest House. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The location was good, close to Scarborough town centre, Peasholm Park and the North Bay. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

If you're planning to stay at St Michaels Boutique Guest House, you will be joyfully welcomed and pampered by the lovely and affable owners, Annie and Alex. The room I stayed in was very comfortable, quiet, beautifully decorated (as was the rest of the house), and spotless. The homemade breakfast cooked by Alex was delicious and just enough to get me going for my walking exploration around the town. The location of the guest house is easily accessible by foot if you're coming from the train station, and the beach is also at a close walking distance. Thank you Annie and Alex for such a great stay in your beautiful guest house!

St Michael's Guest House is a peaceful, welcoming haven. Stepping into the dining room is like stepping into a Wonder Emporium. The hosts are wonderful people. Highly recommend and I'll be returning with my daughter in the summer

"I cannot fault my experience at St. Michael's; it was truly amazing! My hat goes off to the hosts for making it a fantastic short break. I am returning later on in the year.

"I couldn't find an option to leave six stars, but my experience at St. Michael's Guest House was amazing from start to finish. The hosts made me feel highly valued and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made a fantastic choice. The room was well-equipped, clean and tidy. Annie took her time to understand my requirements which made me feel very comfortable. They even assisted me in providing timetables for buses and trains. It was a great regret for me to leave after three nights, and the final icing on the cake was when Annie gave me a lift to the train station. In my opinion, the hosts are incredibly dedicated to providing a fantastic experience for each customer."

Annie and Alex were wonderfully accommodating in every way. Very thoughtful and looked after their guests with kindness and consideration. Breakfast was fabulous. My room was welcoming and there was even 'chockies' on the pillows.

I seriously can't think of anything I didn't like.

Annie and Alex want all their guests to really enjoy their time in Scarborough, I felt that immediately I met them. I felt welcomed and there were many thoughtful touches that were brilliant such as putting out a clothes airer for my wet outdoor gear, cooking my choice of breakfast ingredients, and friendly, happy making chats at breakfast. They really know what they are doing, and they offer a little haven. Thank you both
