lovely place to stay not far from Peaseholme park ,the couple that run it are warm n friendly i was in a single room but it was perfect ,enjoyed my breakfast and loved chatting to Annie n Alex at breakfast found myself a great place to stay when I need to get away will return

A little confusion with check out time being different to parking permit end time. Only breakfast option is full English. Both things very minor.

Room exceptionally comfortable and quiet. Lots of light, with sofa and tea/coffee and kettle. Tasty breakfast. 20 minute walk to town/beach. Very good value.

This is a smart part of town and I’ve stayed over in a selection of very good guest houses. yet this is the best. Quality to the finest detail and lovely, accommodating, authentic personnel. Great value. Everything surpasses.

There was nothing to not like.

We were given a very warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly hosts. The room was very clean with a comfortable double bed and a well stocked hospitality tray with plenty of kitkats, always a bonus. Full English breakfast with fresh ground coffee and locally sourced products was lovely. Located near Peasholm park, and not too far to walk into town.

Made to feel welcome from the moment I checked in. Annie offered a cup of tea right away! Room was comfortable and clean and well stocked with tea and coffee with lots of milk pods which you don't normally get enough of. Even had some kit-kats on the tray. Location wise, it is hard to get better. Less than a minute's walk from Peasholm Park and a nice little selection of eateries and a grocery shop on your doorstep. On street parking is easily available and permits provided. North Bay itself is only a couple of minutes stroll away. Annie, the landlady, and her husband where very friendly and always said hello or asked how things were as I was coming and going. Although I didn't select the breakfast option it smelled lovely cooking and other guests in the dining room seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it. If (when) I'm holidaying in Scarborough the next time, St Michael's will be my first choice of place to stay.

It has 2 sets of stairs with a stairlift on one which can be a problem for some as room is limited but we were fine ..

We enjoyed the small cosy homely feel which is what we wanted .A very clean stylish comfort with the best mattress and bedding.In a perfect location for the open theatre and Peasholme Park. It's a short taxi ride from the train station or a 15 min walk to the town centre .A choice of cafes nearby on route to the beautiful seafront...we will be back ..thznkyou.

Annie and Alex were exceptional hosts and my daughter and I were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The guest house was lovely and our room was clean and beyond our expectations. We were made to feel welcome and we were sorry to leave! Breakfast was superb and tailored to what we wanted. I would definitely recommend staying at St. Michaels guest house and next time we visit Scarborough I would not be looking anywhere else to stay. The location was perfect and an added bonus was the free parking. Big thank you to Annie and Alex for making our stay even better than we expected.

Everything was perfect
