Not anything I can say that I didn't like, it sounds a bit kissy kissy but for the reason I booked the lace it was over and above what i thought it was going to be.

I didn't have the breakfast, but I did have fruit, pastry and muesli in the room when I got there. There was also a fridge with milk, water and a yogurt in. I loved the fact that it was just like the photos ( I stayed in cocoes one) I could sit on the sofa for the tv and to study which is the reason I went there. Sitting out on the balcony area listening to the church bells and the birds was fantastic. If its a quiet getaway you want then this is the place for you.

A help-yourself breakfast was provided in the room the night before - milk and yogurt in the fridge, fruit, muslei and a muffin each. Tea and coffee making facilities too. I really liked that there was a sitting room area in the room, as well as the bedroom and bathroom area. Also benches in the garden to sit on

There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel at the moment which is a shame as it is has beautiful facilities for this.

Very friendly and relaxed, we could come and go as we pleased and the room was spotless and vey comfortable. The location is absolutely lovely and we enjoyed our staff, we would book with Stratton's again in the future, so highly recommended.

Breakfast wasn't actually included but the owners very kindly provided complimentary pastries, filled bagels, tea & coffee, milk and fruit for our stay which was lovely and something we were not expecting.

The plug in the bath was so hard to get out as the metal it was attached to was broken and sharp. Not a big deal really just needs replacing. Did not stop me having a bath and relaxing to the beautifully deep tub.

The breakfast provided as always was lovely. I loved the room the photos and the general room was lovely. I loved the bath in the bedroom and the bed so big and luxurious. I also loved having a fridge in the room.

We had a little difficulty finding the entrance but was pleasantly surprised when we navigated the narrow driveway. The courtyard is very welcoming. It was wonderful to hear so many birds singing who thankfully weren't put off by the beautiful pussycats wandering around and even better to see ducks on the High Street! The Opium Suite was very cosy and although breakfast wasn't included in our booking, pastries, fruit and yoghurt had been provided which was a lovely thought. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will visit again.

We stayed in the Stalls - spacious lovely décor everything needed for our short stay. Surrounding estate stunning well kept garden and court yard. Amazing hosts. All local amenities within walking distance. Perfect base for exploring The blend of quirky decor and original beams makes this a stunning place to stay.

It is hardly worth mentioning anything...all good!

I have been coming to Strattons for many years, and while the restaurant and courtyard cafe have closed for want of staff it still is a great experience for those who want a comfortable base to explore the surrounding area. It does seems as if the present owners since 1990 will be selling up so go while it is still in their hands.

Beautiful setting. Right in the heart of town yet it felt secluded and rural. Rustic barn was beautifully decorated and spacious.
