Great venue; superb food and wonderful staff

Welcoming, comfortable and clean rooms. Made to feel welcome which is always a bonus when you spend 3 nights staying away every week. Dinner and breakfast good. Will stay again. Rooms nice a quiet so a good nights sleep with good shower.

Like the idea of cafeteria coffee, but the clean up was not worth the hassle. Stick with instant or better still coffee bags.. would be easier for the staff to clean up as well

Wonderful location with character. Lovely rooms. Lovely food, helpful staff, especially the room service ladies who prepared our room switch at 9am which meant we didn't have to physically check out and then check back in. We travel a lot and this is only the second review we have ever left so the Bower Inn and it's staff really have left an impression. Back soon.

Only gripe was the pillows too soft , we use a harder pillow . Still slept well though, bed was lovely and comfortable. Have used the BOWER INN before and will continue to do so , highly recommended.

Everything was just lovely. The room light airy, very comfortable bed and exceptionally clean throughout. We had dinner in the evening which was just excellent and a fantastic menu choice. The breakfast was also great and the staff throughout our stay were friendly and welcoming. All in all a great overnight stay. Would highly recommend.

Could have done with a fan in the room as it got really warm even with the windows open Spoke to a member of staff when leaving she said they have them in the summer maybe just leave one in the room all year round Bathroom in mirror was way too high could only see the top of my head 🤣 I’m 5ft 5inch

We had a spacious room, that was immaculately cleaned every day. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very professional, efficient and always on hand with nothing too much trouble. Time had been spent to make your stay comfortable, with left to chance, with locally sourced products and ample soaps, shampoo, tea, coffee and biscuits suppled in the room.

Bed & pillows were really soft as we’re used too firmer. Too many dogs for my preference although mostly in one side of dining area some were quite noisy which is understandable when there are a few in the same space.

Great location just off M5 for onward journey, staff friendly & helpful when we managed to speak to them as had to email as well as call. Upgraded room was very nice with great bath! Good food & drinks at dinner & breakfast.

Couldn't stay longer!

Huge room, really clean and welcoming. Menu was original and food was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. Our dog was given a complimentary sausage at breakfast, which was a lovely surprise.

Slight noise in the evening as it is an inn, not an issue for us.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast was lush, we even got seconds. We were late for breakfast on one day but they still made sure we had something. It was nice to see the sheep and lambs outsid the window.
