Due to staff levels in the evening it took a while for the tables to be cleared. Think that due to new staff being trained they were not focussed on the smaller service aspects such as this or coming back to check everything was o.k or if you needed anything else. Do understand that at the moment it is really hard after Covid.

Excellent breakfast and the lady who served in the morning was really lovely. Quick check in and really close to the ferry which we needed for our early start. The menu in the restaurant was reduced due to staffing however it was still sufficient. Plenty of places to just sit in the bar if you don’t want to eat and just to sit.

The rooms are a bit small and it can be quite expensive. There are no surrounding attractions and the nearest bus stop is a 10min walk away. If travelling on foot, I do not recommend going to the Fishbourne port.

Well decorated room that's excellent and has good facilities. Great breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close to the Fishbourne port; might be excellent for those who are driving.

Great location right next to the ferry port. Easy to get to and from. 1min drive whilst waiting for the ferry so can comfortably enjoy some food and a drink.

Didn't like the sausages at breakfast and ran out of back bacon on last day. Given three small slices of streaky bacon instead. Service quite slow. Had to wait for replacement chef one morning. Couldn't turn radiators off in room during the day. Staff informed. Room not serviced for last three days.

Good bar and restaurant facilities. Good wine list. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Well maintained outside area. Bright and clean room. Nice bathroom with constant hot water.

Had to have two rooms as only one room for family of four Daughter aged 14 had own room so made for an expensive stay Showers / bath water not great pressure but put thar down to age of property

The room we booked was a large triple room with large windows and a walk in shower (pictures on Booking.com associated with the booking) We received a triple room but it was much smaller than expected. It also had a shower over the bath - we had booked the room to have a walk in shower.

This is really hard to write as there has been a pandemic and I know businesses are struggling but I don’t think the price represented the facilities/condition of the room. There were cushions on the bed which were really old, they smelled and whilst they looked ‘nice’ they were really out dated. The pillows on the bed were awful. They were uncomfortable and were ‘well used’. The sheets and the bedding was clean I must stress! My daughter had the day bed but she didn’t have a pillow? Just these old cushions and my husband ended up giving her his. Then she didn’t have a duvet, just a ‘worn’ blanket. She ended up sleeping in the main bed with me and then my husband slept on the day bed. Again a silly thing, but the bathroom was very tired. The panel on the bath is mouldy and coming away and despite how clean it was, I couldn’t say the condition of the room matched the price being charged. It’s a shame. It was really silly things that let it down, but again I know business don’t have the cash to spend on fixing things like this so I do sympathise!

Nice large room with ocean view. Comfortable bed. Great meals at night and breakfasts were a great start to the day. Staff were very accommodating and prepared us a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early for the ferry.

The tub was too high. It was slippery and was difficult to regulate the water it was way too warm. The sink has two spickets old-fashioned Style. The bathroom was so hot you could not regulate the the heat. The TV was minuscule and got stuck and couldn't control it. People who are from out of the country appreciate having CNN. The beds were like sleeping in a hammock, although we got used to it. No elevator

I had 2 requirements: breakfasts and parking. It only delivered one. Although promised an alternative “to go” when checking out at 7am, there was nothing. I left to work hungry and disappointed at the girl who was opening the inn when I checked out, who said there was nothing for me in the kitchen.

I needed a hotel with breakfast and parking close to the location I was working. The property was well located to the purpose of my trip, clean and had all the amenities you would expect.

It was a bit chilly in the room.

Our room was so spacious and airy. The restaurant in the same building was also really good. It is the nice quiet place, the building by itself deserved to be visited.

The room was very cold indeed. Bathroom & bedroom radiators were cold (although turned on full), the rest of the property was warm, hot radiators. I complained when I arrived & continued my complaint for 2 more days. On the last night an electric fire turned up. Bit late I say! The bathroom was very smelly indeed (damp smell), the double room was very small & cramped. The bathroom radiator was covered in light rust, the walls had been patched up with paint & the shower cubicle is obviously leaking as it was very mouldy around the bottom. The light pull in bathroom was very stained. The TV was about 20 inches, very dated & could hardly see any text from sat on the bed. The centre light was very dim (small tulip bulb). & looking into the wardrobe was very dark indeed. I was extremely disappointed for what was over £120 per night. I will not be returning!

Room was very light at night due to fire alarm light, didn’t bother me but i know if my partner had been with me she wouldn’t have slept.
