Parts of the hotel seemed a little dated, though my room was lovely and not so. I didn’t use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment on that.

Great location, good value parking. My room was really nice and very clean. I liked that water and coffee etc was provided. Lovely view from my room.

Eating in conference room because we have a dog, feels like we're outcasts

Always happy at this Hotel. Dining facilities should be better for dogs and owners. Hotel in general needs some T.L.C.

Shower in the room as detailed above.

We had a room upgrade for moving room at the hotel's request, together with complimentary breakfast for the same reason. The shower in the room needs some urgent maintenance before it becomes unusable; otherwise the room was very good. Breakfast, for which we were going to pay before the complimentary upgrade as above, was excellent. We did not use any of the other restaurant or bar facilities.

No double bed......and didn't like being in the very bottom of the hotel. Would have preferred being up a bit higher! And only one bedside lamp.....really need two, and the one we had ws really dim, so difficult to read in bed.

Great location. Good that the dog could stay with us. Great parking....able to park from early on first day, before checking in, and able to stay in car park after checking out on last day. Didn't eat or drink there, so unable to comment on that. Nice to have a bath in the en suite, but that made the shower more awkward, so plus and minus for that. Room service every day is good.

Shame had to pay for parking (I don't remember reading this when I booked!) and the curtains were very thin so room didn't get dark over night.

Excellent location, walking distance into town and along the sea front. View of the sea from my room and everything needed for my stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

One of our bedside lamps had a loose connection resulting in thelightcomingon when you hadn't used the switch! The position of the switch was very load down to use. This was reported to reception . When making a booking it's important to us we have parking available at the accommodation. Whilst appreciating parking was available, this is the first time I've had to pay!

We liked the location of the hotel, room spacious & comfortable. Nice relaxation areas especially view overlooking the front gardens & sea-front. Lovely breakfast with a good choice.

The shower could have done with a little more power.

The room I had was a double with sea view. The view was great overlooking the garden and the beach, the room was a good size and the bed was comfy. The shower could have done with a little more power and the temperature was not consistent, however it did the job. Breakfast was buffet style with a selection of cooked items, fruit, cereal, pastries and yogurts. The room you have your breakfast in has a fantastic double height ceiling with detailed cornicing. The hotel is well located, with shops, restaurants, bars and the beach all in short walking distance (5-10 mins). The hotel has a good sized carpark although there is a charge. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing I didn't really like it was all ok just little things could be improved

The hotel has a great location, it is so pet friendly and made us feel really welcome with our two doggies, the hotel was clean or though looking a bit tired around the edges, we had a balcony room this could of done with a clean the table and floor from moss. Breakfast was good but could of been better with other stuff i.e black pudding or mushrooms and we went half board and 3 courses was very nice, well cooked and tasty, drink were good value to me and my wife had a great night

At times, I found some staff members almost reminiscent of Faulty Towers. I was waiting for Basil to come around the corner. The hotel had significant disabilty access issues

Needs some TLC in certain areas. Balconies could do with a paint and clean and decent furniture.
