The room was quite small and the shower hose was damaged - we reported this so hopefully it will be repaired

No toilet roll holder in the bathroom, just screw holes in the wall where the mounting plate used to be.

Bar was scruffy and noisy. Luckily I bring earplugs with me wherever I go.

Excellent service from all the Staff. Lovely young girls overseeing the breakfast room. Breakfast was good and room was very clean. Beer garden was huge with it's own small bar.

Although quirky, which is nice, a couple of items were not well installed, such as a very sloping shelf above the sink, a loo roll holder that fell apart and a thermostatic shower control which did not control the temperature.

Staff were very friendly And the breakfast was lovely. For a pub with rooms, which is basically what it is, it was a lovely stay and very central.

Our room faced an internal courtyard which was a service area for the bar/restaurant so we were woken very early by the sound of kegs being rolled out.

Very central and close to lots of paid parking options, shops and restaurants. Lovely complimentary cooked breakfast options and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Bed in superior double room mattress needs changing the springs you could hear when you moved when you sat or laid on bed there was no comfort there at all, like sleeping on nothing

The hotel was super clean and cute. It was in a perfect location in the center of the town with easy access to the train station and the cafes and shops in the town. Breakfast was great each morning and the staff were lovely. We genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Only thing was not having hot water in the early evening for a shower but 25 minutes later we had it so no major worries

First must say all staff bar none were superb, what ever you needed help with they were there to help in there friendly homely manner which to me was just them being them, fantastic. Breakfast was freshly cooked, you might have to wait for it but I’d rather wait for a freshly cooked meal than have reheated food 🤷‍♂️ We also had a Sunday lunch at the restaurant which yet again was lovely and at a very reasonable price. The rooms you see advertised are what you get, very clean and comfortable. Only down thing for us was waiting for hot water to have a shower but come on this is the same in many a hotel and isn’t a major problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel to one and all.
