TV signal is terrible. One of the lifts is not the best with heavy doors and if someone leaves the door open it won't work.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Nice beds and bathrooms. Good parking. Lovely swimming pool. Great food and a good choice of where to eat. Very reasonably priced.

loved the location and being able to have free use if the golf course. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - especially Alf. The restaurant food was good and waiting staff were lovely

Easier if printed info on pool given to each user as complicated when using it for first time. Also pool sign would be helpful before changing rooms. Taps in bathroom very slippery, hard to get a grip on. Bigger tv would be good. Yellow plastic tulips in jars on landing.

Breakfast generally good but hard to keep everything hot. Room very pleasant and liked the windows, easy to open in such hot weather. Loved the local paintings and photographs all over hotel. Hole in one and the grounds and surrounding beautiful area.

the staff were excellent in every way. Not sure if they were understaffed but certainly working extremely hard. the time waiting at the sports bar for breakfast. (it was cooked and transported across the road from the main hotel).

Breakfast and drinks in the Hotel are quite expensive, but nice to treat yourself to a luxury for a couple of days.

Great location, within walking distance of the beach at West Runton which is the closest. Accessible by train and useful to take the train to either Sheringham or Cromer. Nice to have the swimming pool and golfing facilities and the option to eat in the "Hole in One" casual clubhouse.

Older style hotel kept in excellent condition and cleanliness with excellent food. Golf course right next door. Great staff.

Unfortunately I stayed on the hottest night of the year and the room lacked air conditioning. I had to sleep on top of the duvet but I did manage to get enough sleep.

Hotel is very clean, tidy and in a quiet area. I had an evening meal which was excellent. Plenty of seating in the bar area.

My only criticism is the breakfast for the amount charged it was very poor quality the cooked items didn't look very appetising over cooked not good for £15

We arrived rather late after a long drive and although check in was swift the desk clerk neglected to tell us that the restaurant would soon stop serving (at 9.30pm?) On reaching the restaurant we were told we were too late and that the only food now available would be pizzas. We were shocked & unhappy & the poor & very young manageress, who did her absolute best to facilitate us, rather got it in the neck from my friend who has travelled a great deal internationally. Whilst she eventually managed to elicit decent dinners for us & really did her very best to facilitate our needs I felt incredibly sorry for her having to defend a ridiculous policy. After that things went downhill and on our last day I couldn't get my shower to work and the closing time for breakfast had changed so I missed it.

Check in & out was swift and easy, the rooms were nice & one had great views. Breakfast was good although I was sorry there was no yoghurt.

Nowhere to hang clothes in bathroom. Greens at dinner undercooked.

All of the above, plus swimming-pool a good size to do lengths, dinner, touches such as antiques and watercolours dotted around the building's corridors, bar, friendly receptionists and waiters. Also liked having a proper door key rather than a card and choice of cleaning or not and not having fresh towels every day: good for the environment.

There wasnt much to dislike about the hotel, but just beware of the out dated lift if you can't use the stairs. But having said all this, we would willingly return!

It was a lovely break, the staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfasts were good. We thought it could do with a spruce up, and noticed they had started painting the front as we departed. Parking was easy, and it was a good central location for the rest of the coastal areas.
