One of the rooms had not been refurbished so did have a worse bathroom set up. Otherwise it was all perfect.

Really friendly and most of the rooms were perfect. So comfortable. Food in the restaurant was exceptional and breakfast was ideal for setting us up for the day.

Too late now to make any adjustments but soundproofing should have been discussed during the refurbishment of the rooms. Rather disconcerting listening to someone urinating in the adjoining room from behind your headboard.

Lovely setting, plenty of parking, great location if going to the Hepworth and YSP. Cozy environment with very good kitchen staff. Make sure you reserve a table for dinner before you arrive as they get very busy. Delicious fresh ingredients with a varied menu.

Staff polite and helpful, the food was fantastic and the bed was the most comfortable single bed I’ve ever slept in! Not a breakfast person but if it was anything like the evening menu I think it would have been great.

Shower pan was useless so water ended up all over the bathroom. Lock wouldn't open on way out so we were trapped until let out. Breakfast was quite limited, though tasty enough.

Some people may not like having to go outside to get to the mews bedroom, didn’t bother me.Breakfast is simple and it would be nice to have plain yoghurt and porridge available.

Historic pub with rooms, nicely decorated bedrooms and new bathrooms. Good restaurant with freshly prepared food.

Breakfast ,was only served until 9 am could of offered full English. Wasn't much of a hot menu to choose from

Booked for an evening Wedding at nearby Dimple well lodge , near town centre quite central. Had a wonder around tried a few local pubs out . Rooms Very clean, nicely decorated in a Quiet location . Pub on site was really nice for food with reasonable prices .

The Mews Hotel in Wakefield was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The friendly staff, delicious meals, and clean rooms contributed to our enjoyable visit. We would certainly consider staying here again if we find ourselves in Wakefield in the future.

Not having a cooked breakfast, pillows too flat

We had evening meal which was very good, breakfast disappointing no cooked breakfast just bacon or sausage sandwich, eggs or beans on toast

The toilet didn't flush very well.

The room and the service were excellent. Shower was really good. Food wise, dinner and breakfast were great.

There was a old dead spider under toilet and the bedside table had a bit of dust around it. Minor really but that was the only thing.

We love how quirky the pub is. Staff are friendly and the food is amazing! Rooms are cosy and the beds are super comfy.

Room was immaculate, well appointed and lovely bathroom. Food on the evening was exceptional. staff were friendly and happy to help with any questions.Easy to find and parking was no problem at all. Would recommend a stay if in the area.

It was great

Comfy and clean. It was great to have my dog accepted. The park was literally next door! I had my meals there and my dog was also welcomed and given some food. As a solo traveller it helped me feel relaxed.

Could have done with more information in the room with regards to meal times and information about the Mews as its so characterful.

The room was comfortable and quirky. The breakfast was well cooked and they even had gluten free toast for me.
