We stayed in the winter, so the only thing which would have been better would have been an option to use heating, although it's an older building so a couple things quite out of date, but nothing was uncomfortable.

Location was brilliant! A short walk away from the city centre and the seaside. Size of the room was great, staff were friendly and willing to help and bed was very comfortable.

The window frames could do with a touch of paint. The frames were in need of some tlc The lift was just a little slow. Apart from that there is nothing else to report.

Breakfast was nice and fairly priced at £10 a head. The room was clean on arrival. The staff friendly. The bar was reasonably priced. We were not overcharged for drinks from the bar and the decor was nice in the bar area We enjoyed the entertainment on Saturday night

Hotel didn't respond to email enquiry regarding blue badge parking. Parked in public car park nearby @ £10 per day Lift is incredibly slow... Over 1 minute to reach third floor! Room furniture is dated and a bit grubby.

Convenient location for harbour restaurants and seafront walk. Front desk staff friendly Good value for money. Took advantage of a room upgrade offer

The bedroom tv was very small, the bed creaked a bit and the bathroom door handle was a bit loose, but these were trivial things that didn't affect our overall stay.

Great breakfast choices ranging from cereals, mixed fruits with yoghurt to scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, toast, croissants, juices etc. Fantastic location, close to beach, harbour, shops and restaurants but still peaceful.

Noisy at night, however I am aware this came from other guests, not really under the hotel's control. The shower tray kept filling to the top,and took about 10 mins to drain away. Towels were very small. Bath sheets would have been better.

No walk in shower . Small towels, Only 2 sachets of coffee and no biscuits. Paid extra for front view but all you could see was a tree.

Our room had a noisy bathroom fan. Parking at the hotel wasn't clear of where to park, so we parked in the multi-storey car park which cost £10 but is very close to hotel. I should have contacted the hotel beforehand to check where the parking was.

Close to the centre, on the sea front. We had a front facing room which had a great view. The hotel had a relaxed feeling. There was a bar in the hotel which looked well stocked but didn't use it on this occasion. Breakfast had a mix of continental and cooked breakfast and plenty to choose from.

Our room was dirty. The bathroom floor still had talcum powder on the floor from a previous customer. The coffee machine was broken, dirty and still had a used coffee pod in it. The tv was set to show subtitles and despite our best efforts, these could not be removed. We paid an extra £10 for a superior, front facing room. We do not consider this worth the extra money, as there was nothing superior about the room sadly.

Only one thing, and it's not something the hotel can change: my room was noisy from traffic and social noise in the road outside until after 2 in the morning.

A bit of entertainment would have been nice but understood as hotel was very quiet & not very full.

We liked the room but being on the front it was a bit noisy but we wanted a view. Location we liked as it was close to everything including bus stops.

The bathroom sink not working!!!

The only thing was that the plug in the bathroom sink would not open therefore had to leave a full sink of water on departure and I think the breakfast could of been a bit better than scrambled egg. The buffet breakfast was very plain for the price. A few more choices. Plus for Vovid reasons please wrapped cereal sachets a.d not open bowls! Thankq ❤️
