Having to navigate through Hotel A to Hotel B was a hassle, especially when we got through to Hotel B and the lifts were broke and we were on the top floor... Other than that, great stay, lovely staff and comfortable bed

The room location was quite far to get to from reception and it was easy to get lost. The room itself was fine but the sockets and lights were a bit dodgy, some lights worked some not, same with sockets. Tv reception was also a bit iffy so gave up on catching up with the local news.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot. The hotel location is good as it is near Castle street so close to where i was attending.

The bathroom door was opaque with a mirror infront of it so you could see the person on the loo from the bed!

While the hotel boasts a prime location and exceptional service, there are areas for improvement that detract from the overall experience. During my stay, I noticed a lack of deep cleaning in the accommodations, which was disappointing. Additionally, it was frustrating to encounter stuffed drains on multiple occasions.

I understand the building is listed and awaiting refurbishment. I had to change room. The new room was much better, bigger, cleaner and probably refurbed. The mattresses in both rooms were below par. It may appear to be a value for money basic hotel but given the condition of the first room no 120, I wouldn't pay anything for it.

The location is absolutely perfect. Central , walkable distance to all the main attractions & surrounded by lots of restaurants & bars. The staff are wonderful; cheerful & helpful. They managed our expectations very well. We treated it as a travel lodge type accommodation ie for bed & shower as out all day.

The rabbit-warren corridors and having to carry suitcases up and down stairs. No yea or coffee facilities in the room.

The location was great and it was interesting to see the inside of a historic building.

there was no window in the bedroom so couldn't look outside to see weather or fresh air and if there was a fire you wouldn't be able to get out

I couldn't fault the hotel and I would definitely stay again.

The receptionist was lovely and friendly. He booked us in with no hassle. The location is great. Walking distance to everything we needed. The room is small, but we were expecting that. The value was great and I would definitely stay there again. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless.

Unfortunately, the windows were not clean. It would have been nice to have a clear view out into the city. Spring mattress was also rather uncomfortable.

The hotel is in the city centre, so super easy to find and really close to everything we wanted to go to. Everything was around a 10 minute walk away, so super convenient.

There are some steps/stairs along the way which make me to carry my 20kg luggage up and down. Quite troublesome.

Floor in room and windows and window ledge very dirty and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed ive ever slept in my back and neck are still bad

There wasn’t really anything that I didn’t like about the property

The things I liked about it is that it is in a good place very quite so easy to rest if you went there for work etc. staff were lovely very clean and rooms are big enough for 2 people
