The property is a beautiful well kept building with fantastic garden. Great room, very roomy and comfortable. The hosts are excellent and very accommodating and the breakfast is top notch. Highly recommended and definitely on the return list.

Lovely rooms, lovely hosts, lovely breakfast, lovely stay....the hosts were very polite, friendly and helpful; We stayed because we were dining at the Elephant Restaurant but they were able to advise us of other local places to visit, which we did, Ansteys Cove to be precise, (highly recommended btw - thanks) as is the Villa Marina hotel, thanks again guys, we will definitely stay again if ever we're in the area!

I stay away alone for work, and always larger hotels so booking a guest house was due to the closeness to where I needed to be the following morning. I can honestly say this is one of the best stays I've ever had. The room was spotless and attention to detail was fantastic.little extras in the room made the experience more memorable. Comfy, contemporary but luxurious. Even asking how you like your breakfast ie bacon crispy, any requests how you prefer parts of the breakfast really gave an extra attention to detail and customer service. Just being so accommodating without being in your face was so lovely. The hosts were friendly without being imposing and you felt they were engaging with you through genuine attentiveness, not just the expected lip service. Finally value for money was great.

I stayed at VM with my sister. We were so well looked after by our hosts, both friendly, knowledgeable about the area and genuinely caring. The breakfast was terrific, the room warm and welcoming, and the whole place immaculately and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic hosts! Immaculate property with everything we needed. Great breakfast with many choices and waited on throughout. Wide range of choices of drink and nibbles in the room, all reasonably priced. A glass of wine over looking the lovely garden area from the seated areas at the bay window was perfect. Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean en-suite room. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel is a beautiful Georgian building and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms spotless and stylishly, feels like luxury accommodation. Vince and Erwan are the perfect hosts, attentive and friendly, but not over-bearing. They also helped make our wedding anniversary even more special by leaving rose petals and prosecco in our room! Such a lovely couple, thank you once again!

We loved absolutely everything honestly it’s fabulous

The boys were very warm, friendly and welcoming and the villa is absolutely beautiful, it smells divine, with well kept private gardens, fantastic rooms, luxurious decor, sumptuous bed, the best quality bathroom towels ever, immaculately clean, gorgeous toiletries, delicious breakfasts. Merlin is adorable and the boys were fantastic hosts and so knowledgeable giving lots of great advice.

We had such a lovely stay here. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Vincent and Erwan. The room was great and we appreciated all the little extra touches that were provided. Breakfast was a real treat as well, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. We will definitely be back!

Giving these amazing guys 10/10 doesn't do just for the lovely business they have built . We are greeted by the warmest welcome from vincent who swifty gets us checked in and helps us plan our week where to go . After hitting the first recommendation for food which was Ottos pizza ( truly incredible pizza ) in the town we came back to a cool , clean and well stocked room it was lovely . Every morning we got to see ewan who brought us our cooked breakfast which was truly incredible . Attention to detail using local produce but generally the cooked breakfasts were just truly awesome . Although I'm not a poached egg type of gentleman apparently who ever was on poachy duty ewan or vincent were doing some mad magic . My mrs shared this sentement with another lovely couple staying in the room next door to us ( if you like poached eggs its a major win apparently ) I could go on and tell you about the other amazing things that both vincent and ewan recommended but i will summarise with this . Just nice people , care about people who have looked at every attention to detail . Thanks for making me and sophs stay warm and welcome , thank you for exceeding all expectations . Not to mention merlin the dog , just a big softy who has inherited warm welcomes from his amazing owners . Cant wait to see you guys again Regards simon simon and sophie

The hosts , Vince and Erwan are really lovely, warm and very welcoming and friendly - even their gorgeous dog! The place is very clean, sophisticated with choice decor and quality toiletries.I love the little personal touches,like the atomiser by the bed side and the seagull silencer…aka ear plugs! Breakfast was amazing! Vince has given me fab suggestions for choice of places to dine and visit too!
